Angelos (and his family, thanks again Eleni) was a great host! Whenever we contacted him about something, he answered almost immediately and was very kind and helpful. Some reviews mention "barking dogs" and "louder surroundings", but in our stay this was not the case at all. The house is located approx 7min from Paleochora and right at the beach. It has a very big "backyard" through which you walk through to get to the beach. There were only a handful of other guests around so you basically had the beach to yourself. The house itself is comfortable enough to enjoy your vacation. With ACs in the bedrooms and living room/kitchen, you can manage the heat without any problems.

An outdoor dining area is situated on a spacious veranda, featuring a wooden table set for six. The view overlooks the Mediterranean sea and sandy beach, with the vibrant blue water and clear sky in the background. Green vines add a natural touch along the railings.

Ich war sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt! Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben – sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Lage war ideal, alles war gut erreichbar. Der Gastgeber war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Ich würde die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

Our stay was completely perfect! Kosta and his wife were wonderful and kind hosts and the house is incredible. Everything was so clean and we had absolutely everything we could need. The garden is beautiful and being able to step straight out onto the lovely beach is just a dream. We couldn’t recommend this house highly enough and cannot wait to return!

We had some really nice days here, the beach is close (be aware that you have to cross the street) and there are good restaurants very close. Also some nice beaches for snorkeling but also for very small kids (2 years in our case). You can get most things for daily life on the camping place. Parking is directly in front of the building

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Das Haus liegt inmitten eines Olivenhain und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Sally war sehr auf unsere Privatsphäre bedacht. Wir kommen wieder. Wer die Ruhe mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Es ist alles vorhanden. Sally ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. :)

Wir waren eine Woche bei Nafsika und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Wohnung ist für zwei Personen extrem geräumig, wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist extrem gut gepflegt, die Zwischenreinigung war makellos und der Service sowie die Kommunikation waren überdurchschnittlich gut! Nafsika antwortet innerhalb kurzer Zeit und ist sehr bemüht, alles zum besten zu gestalten. Die Wohnung liegt entfernt von touristischen Spots, man fühlt sich als Nachbar neben den Einheimischen und ist trotzdem in wenigen Minuten in Paleochora. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um den wilden Westen Kretas zu erkunden. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

This was the most beautiful place we stayed at in Crete. A spacious home with many porches to relax, tucked away in it's own garden, just steps from the ocean - hard to beat. We went to a lot of beaches while on Crete, and Gialiskari was one of the nicer and more remote ones - and it's just a short walk down the road from the home. Paleochora is also walkable from the home, and is a very laid-back town with it's own impressive beach. If we had known better, we would have stayed here longer on our vacation and skipped a few other places in Crete. Thanks to Giannis and his family for sharing this wonderful place!
