Beachfront vacation rentals in Gialos Beach

Elena is a very nice person, with a great personality, very communicative and helpful. The house is great, with everything that you need for a good stay, also very clean. It is a beachfront house, you have to walk max. 50m to the beach. The beach is mixed, stone and sand, it is quite private and very clean. I would warmly recommend that house to everyone. Thank you again Elena!

Really nice place to stay

We (my husband and I and our 2 kids (2 and 4)) had a lovely stay at Villa Rocca! The house has everything you need, is beautiful and has a laidback atmosphere. It is a 5 minute walk to the (pebble) beach and the nearest restaurant is next door! The other restaurants and supermarkets are about 10 minutes walk away. Really convenient! The only thing we missed a little bit, is a nice outside area to sit. There are two yards (front and back), but they are quite small and not very inviting to sit in. It didn’t really matter for us though as we were out most evenings. Lastly, Antonella is a very nice host! She is easy to communicate with, very friendly and super helpful. All in all, we had a great holiday at Villa Rocca and highly recommend staying here!

Wow. We had a wonderful week at the house! I was working remote and must say the internet connection was super stable and fast enough for video calls and everything 👌 The house is just amazing and very private. The pool for ourselves was a highlight. The beach is also just 1 or 2 minutes away by foot, as are the bars and cafes. The village is pretty quiet during the offseason, exactly what we needed! If you stay there longer make sure to shop at a bigger supermarket on the way there because the little shops have just essentials to offer. It was a special treat for us and we can more than recommend it! Thanks Ismini ❤️

What a great location. Beautiful sunrise looking out over the water with breakfast on the balcony was a highlight. Apartment located on the edge of Nidri within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes whatever you need. Ideal location for hiring a car, parking off street right in front of apartment and a great base for getting around the island. Flexible check-in was another bonus for this beautiful spot. Highly recommend. Only downside, for me, was that we didn't meet host. But loved the place.

The house was absolutely fantastic. The beach was so close and private. Just awesome views everywhere. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots/pans, cutlery, utensils, dishes, cups, mugs and glasses. It was amazing to have a whole house to ourselves. Very peaceful, especially sitting on the beach. Caterina, our host, was perfect and communicated very well. We would love to stay again.

Amalia and Vasili made our stay incredibly easy, and they were always contactable and very helpful. Any time we needed anything at all. The location is magnificent and we had a wonderful time

We really loved staying at Alex’s place. We arrived during a storm, and he brought us extra blankets for the beds to keep us cosy. Also he gave us some delicious home made cake! On our last day he brought us some more sweet treats. We felt really spoilt. The area is lovely. We explored the nearby island of Lefkada, and visited Mytikas too. The apartment is very well equipped- especially the kitchen, ( Alex is a chef at the local yacht club during the summer season). It was warm and cosy, and we had such a great view from the lounge. We would love to visit again.

Great house! Gal is a kind and responsible host who took care of all our needs. The on-site manager Rea was kind and responsive. The location is breathtaking with pleasant and cozy restaurants just a few minutes away. We highly recommend Gal's house for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation.

A very good location in the centre of the village. The villa was very clean on arrival and as per the listing and the towels and bed sheets were changed when we expected them to. Thank you for allowing us to stay at the villa.

Great villa, very beautiful view and pool and lots of living area space for spending time with friends and family. Situated in a very quiet zone. Highly recommend it as a pure accommodation spot. However Pogonia and Paleros are still developing, there's not much to see around for more than 2 days so the best alternative is Lefkada which is pretty far away and can be pretty tiring (driving 2-3h/day). If you do plan on spending more time in Paleros/Pogonia this villa is your best bet tho.

Gorgeous views of the sea. Extremely private. We loved the outdoor space, especially the veranda, the sun chairs & umbrellas. You need a car but It is an easy 5 min drive to the closest beach with plenty of free parking even in high season. The house is a good size for 2 families (4 teen/preteen kids) but the 2 apts are not equal. The downstairs apt is small and 1 of the 2 bedrooms is very small w no a/c. The 2 families primarily used the upstairs apt and the older kids slept in the downstairs apt, using that living room as a bedroom. We didn’t use the 2nd small pool at all. A couple flags - In high season, on the weekend, it took well over an hour to go from lefkada port to the villa. While google maps predicted about 4.5 hour drive from Athens airport, it took us more like 7 hours (8 with stops). To access the villa, you must drive along a gravel path, which is poorly maintained with a few deep holes. Drive very slowly to avoid damaging your car. That said, it’s well worth it!

Great location, close to the beach and beautiful space for a group or family

We had a truly wonderful stay! The setting is stunning and it was the perfect size for us and our two children. The house is very well kitted out and had everything we needed. We arrived late on a Sunday night and the hosts were very kind and sorted a few essentials. They answered all our questions very quickly and were super helpful. The location is great, Assos is a beautiful little village with a couple of great restaurants and only a 5 minute walk away. The most tranquil place. Thank you for a magical stay!

This house is everything we were looking for, lovely swimming pool, beautiful view over the sea, relaxed and yet close to the village. Everything is exactly as in the pictures: breathtakingly beautiful. Ideal place to relax with (or without) children. 😊 Absolutely recommended!

Maria and the staff at Loop were extremely welcoming. The villa is in a fantastic location and was perfect for the two of us. Everyone was so helpful in recommending places to visit, eat and drink, making the week away as relaxing as possible. Definitely will be looking to return, but this time for 10 days instead of 7!

It was great to stay there as if we were in our own home, Kiriaki paid attention to us to really enjoy our stay. The apartment is in a great location, 45 steps from the sea, we were able to bathe even at 9pm, one of the hottest beaches on the island. You don't need clean water or water shoes. The apartment is clean and renovated, well-equipped, the kitchen is spacious, we were able to prepare a meal because (unlike many other accommodations) there is a decent stove and dishes. Paper towels, napkins, oil, coffee, water heater, sandwich maker, mosquito repellent, umbrella, beach chair, float mattress, fragrant linens and towels, etc. We were provided with a lot of things Kiriaki. We're so grateful. We also used the terrace in front of the apartment a lot, it's nice to be there anytime. Kiriaki is a very attentive host, she responded immediately and sincerely asked, gifts were waiting for us in the fridge. She is a very nice lady. We've been to many AirBNB stays, but we've had the best hospitality. I highly recommend it :-)

Perfect stay at the front of the sea. Vasso and Kostas are very nice and caring hosts. Very cozy house also clean and fully equipped. Highly reccomend!

Aimilio and his family were extremely welcoming and accommodating. His apartment is absolutely stunning and has all the amenities necessary. I can’t wait to come back to Greece and visit his space again.

We love Lefkada and we loved our stay at the villa! George was super helpful and quick to respond. The private water access and the lawn/beautiful garden were the main highlights. The view is lovely all hours of the day. The villa is conveniently located. Highly recommended!

Loved the location, especially the large balcony we spent hours in the afternoon watching the water and the yachts. Also beautiful sunrises from the balcony and worth getting up in the night to marvel at the stars in the night sky. 2 minutes walk to K1 beach. Great swimming spot. 2 of the bedrooms have air con which is great for siesta time. We also booked the newly furnished apartment outside which was a great addition. It also has air con. Great restaurants in Ithaki, in Exogi 'Extra Terrestrial' this one has a killer view, in Stavros 'Delicious' real Greek food and in Vathy 'La Familia' this one has great seafood and of course the ice cream parlour in Frikes. also the local bakery in Stavros is worth visiting for bread and baklava. Would definitely recommend.

What a charming week we had in Villa Illuminosa. The position of the house in Assos cannot be beat. Bedroom 1 (master) was spacious and beds very comfortable. Bedroom 2 was very tight for us. There is a bed which can be made into a double downstairs which would work well for kids. Both bathrooms are very compact but we managed fine. Christos was grt to deal with: friendly, helpful and went out of his way to do washing for us, drop off waters etc. Aircons all worked very well, lots of towels which were changed once during our week. Position really does have the best view in Assos. Loved our week and highly recommend. Thanks Christos!

We had such a lovely stay, the house is big enough for large groups & very comfortable. The hosts were responsive & friendly, the views of Poli’s beach are lovely & the small village can be reached by foot in 2 minutes. We loved the village, it has everything you need. Definitely recommend Stathis’s home.

The pictures are very accurate..it's like a postcard from the front window! So walkable with amazing restaurants. Natasha's place has every thing you need and very well kept..She went out of her way to make us feel at home. Great local recommendations too..don't miss going the the fountain of Kalamos for fresh drinking water it's worth the exciting drive..we went twice!
