Great lakeside apartment in Vitznau with all the things you need when you're away from home. Judith was great about responding quickly to messages and left clear instructions in a nice book she put together for guests. Walking to the ferry station takes about 10 minutes and it's flat so it's easy to do even with luggage. It takes about an hour to get to Lucerne via the ferry but it's a nice scenic ride. Overall a great, quiet, place to stay with a really nice view and wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vitznau. Thanks, Judith!

Die Wohnung von Nicolas mit der Aussicht direkt am See ist die Wucht. Sie ist sehr gut (z.B. die Küche) ausgestattet, mal fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Nicolas ist der perfekte Gastgeber, alle Infos kommen unaufgefordert von ihm, ist trotzdem immer sehr gut zu erreichen. Nur zu empfehlen!

We rented this beautiful farmhouse for our wedding guests with families, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the rustic charm creating a peaceful and cozy environment. Our guests loved the spacious rooms, excellent amenities, and the stunning location surrounded by nature. The children especially enjoyed exploring the outdoors and playing in the garden. View is superb! The home has all the listed amenities - full kitchen, fireplace, dishes/glasses, etc. Access is ~200m walk from station, and is a bit steep (on the way back to station), which is a challenge with heavy bags; but the view from the house is worth it. The hosts are super friendly and guided with instructions and also helpful hiking options. Overall, I will highly recommend it.

Wir haben die Tage im Hostel direkt am See sehr genossen. Die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten zu Fuss, Rigi-Bahn, Bus oder mit dem Schiff sind super. Wir brauchten kein Auto. Von Anfang an fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause und im Garten am See haben wir Kraft getankt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

We were so happy that we got to stay here. The views are like no other. I only regret not booking it for longer. It's a nice little cozy spot. They sent us videos for check-in which was extremely helpful. Navigation took us right to the place. Hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. And there is even parking right outside of the unit. I'd recommend that you have a car since it is high up on the hill. The location provides the best views. I would highly recommend staying here. We were here for two days which definitely was not long enough.

Vitznau completely stole my heart. This place had the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen—waking up to the sight of the lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains felt like a dream. The area was quiet and serene, yet full of charm and beauty at every turn. What made the stay even more special was the host. They were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and responsive throughout the entire experience. From the detailed check-in instructions to the personal local recommendations, I felt genuinely cared for. You can tell they really put their heart into making this place welcoming and memorable. I’ve traveled to many places, but this one stands out in every way. It was the perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and warmth. I’ll absolutely be coming back in a heartbeat.

The location of the House and the Airbnb is just amazing. The view from the private terace is just insane. Pia and Willy were both super friendly and it felt like staying at a friends house. It is very private and at the same time you can walk quickly into the village, where you have everything. I hope we will have the chance to come back in summer.

Notre séjour chez Judith et Adrian à Vitznau restera un souvenir mémorable ! Leur appartement allie modernité et chaleur. Nous nous y sommes sentis chez nous dès le premier instant. Chaque détail a été pensé pour le confort : équipements complets, espaces organisés, et une belle luminosité qui rend le lieu encore plus spacieux et accueillant que sur les photos. L’environnement est une véritable bulle de sérénité — le calme absolu règne, idéal pour se ressourcer sans pour autant être isolé. La localisation stratégique (à quelques pas de la gare et du port) nous a permis d’explorer la région sans voiture. Les balades en bateau vers Lucerne et les ascensions en funiculaire vers les montagnes ont été des expériences magiques avec notre bébé de 14 mois à nos côtés. Merci encore !
