We stayed 5 nights in order to enjoy Frederick with day trips to Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry. Jen's home is very private as we had the first floor to ourselves; for us it was quiet and most relaxing. The common, living room was perfect in its spaciousness for reading, computer work, TV, and napping. JD is an experienced host who accommodates his guests very much. If anyone is looking for a place to stay in the area, I would not hesitate to recommend his place.

We had a great stay with Nancy for a weekend getaway. The location was clean and simple, providing just what we needed to lounge before we were able to take a few short trips to Harper's Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Frederick. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and check-in was straightforward and easy. It's a great find if you're looking for a spot to act as a quick respite between local travel - there's no TV or large furniture to lounge, which was just fine for our needs. The wifi did drop out occassionally, and the service (Verizon) didn't provide great coverage as a backup, so something to keep in mind if critical to stay connected. It was a quaint and comfortable experience and very affordable as a launching point to multiple nearby towns. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want something simple, cozy, and accessible.

This was the perfect home base to explore DC! Julia was kind, thoughtful, and helpful with her recommendations for restaurants and things available in the apartment. The neighborhood was safe and walkable and parking was easy. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at Mimi and Jamie's place for 5 days/5 nights. The house exceeded our expectations - everything was thoughtful, clean, and organized. We had traveled from California and were looking forward to a restful stay, and we were 100% happy that we chose this home. The furniture was well placed, and the rooms were attractively designed. The furnishings brought smiles, and the plants were a perfect addition. The house is beautiful, and waking up with greenery around us was so amazing. The kitchen ware and dinner ware were just right - there were wine glasses too! The sheets were clean, and the curtains were lovely. There was an ample supply of bathroom/body soaps, paper supplies and just about anything we might need. It was so quiet at night. The house was fresh smelling and stayed that way. We felt at home and felt safe. We loved every day we were there.

We stayed for a comedy show, the place was lovely.

My partner and I both stayed here during my visit to MD. I absolutely loved this home. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. The beds and blankets were so soft and it was a peaceful stay with our own entrance/exit. Denise was extremely kind and helpful, even reassuring me when I accidentally broke a magnet clip. My partner and I adore this home and will be staying here again if its available for our next trip. Here is what my partner had to say: Okay so some things i wanted to talk about: the catering was LOVELY. Great assortment of snacks and even a delicious maryland pastery that I didnt know existed (as a maryland native) Such clean, caring, and kind people that really did think of everything. One little note, if you are tall at all, there is a hanging lamp in the living room. Do NOT walk with your head down. Or you will bump into it. I had some close calls being 6'3 haha. Not a demerit on there end but something to be cautious of nonetheless!

We had a wonderful stay! Gale was gracious and patient. The place was just perfect for our needs. We loved the breakfast nook. The driveway we missed when we arrived but luckily she explained how to turn in and we were able to find it. The backyard was private and had lots of greenery. You did not feel like you were in the middle of a city.

I had a fantastic stay at Fred’s place! The apartment was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. Great little property. It was clean and ready for us. Easy access and ample parking. Starter paper products was a nice touch. Although we didn’t need it, there was a pack-and-play available in the closet along with an additional portable bed. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the pillows, they were a bit flat. The larger bedroom actually could fit a king sized bed if they wished to improve the space. Overall, this was perfect for our needs for this trip to Maryland.

My husband and I love staying here and come once to twice a year. Butch and Lynn are very responsive and the nest is cozy and clean. We always look forward to our stay!

Ashley, Neil and Jane were responsive, helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and well-cared for during our three weeks in their rental. The unit is in a beautiful and peaceful location along the Potomac River and was spotlessly clean and well appointed and supplied. As other reviewers have noted, the beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again and highly recommend the unit to others.

My wife and I loved staying at Katie and Michael's! The place was super easy to find, everything was clean and comfortable, and they were extremely accommodating. They answered any questions we had and gave us several great recommendations for things to do near the area. The house is also conveniently located near DC and downtown Alexandria so restaurants, shops, and monuments were all within 15-20 minute driving distance. The only things worth mentioning is the laundry room connects both the upstairs and downstairs and the door can't be closed due to the dehumidifier. However, it never caused an issue. The only other thing is that you can hear their footsteps as well as their dog barking every once in awhile. But if you are like us and gone majority of the day, they seldom were up late in the evenings walking around. We also offered to meet their dog and I think that helped her not bark as much. We would 100% stay here again! PS. The hottub was fantastic and we never had any issues.

We loved staying at Hidden Gardens. It was very clean and Noris made it extra special with all her personal touches to make us feel very special. The garden out back is very relaxing and just beautiful. We loved sitting out there and enjoying all the beautiful flowers and greenery. Noris is an excellent host and amazing person. She made us feel special and we felt right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Noris is a “super-host”.

Our family had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Washington DC! The location was ideal—just a short walk to the Metro, making sightseeing effortless. The neighborhood was safe and welcoming, which gave us peace of mind while traveling. Dining options nearby were a great convenience, with a fantastic Thai restaurant across the street and a pizza place next door. This was nice because we often returned from a long day of walking and needed to eat close by. A grocery store a few blocks away was an added bonus. Inside, the space was perfect for our family of six, with two bedrooms, comfortable beds, and two bathrooms that made mornings smoother. Large windows added to the relaxing atmosphere, and the projector in one room made for memorable movie nights. Our teens especially loved the pool table on the main floor. This Airbnb was the perfect base for our DC adventure, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for families or anyone seeking a comfortable, well-located stay!
