Places to stay in George West

We had such fun fishing off the expansive dock. We caught numerous catfish. Unfortunately it was too windy to do much kayaking but we got out there once. The kids enjoyed the pool. We caught the food truck festival and the kiddos enjoyed the gaming place across from Walmart. it also has go-karts and putt-putt. The house was a perfect beach house and very comfortably fit my family of 5, with room for more.

Nice place to stay by the beach. We enjoyed the heated pool and the quick walk to the beach.

Stayed here for my son’s birthday trip for his 7th birthday. We all enjoyed the animals. The guardian dogs were super friendly and didn’t mind my kids loving on them. The alpacas were incredible. My son wanted to see alpacas for his birthday. Lyn made it extra special by letting him walk the alpacas both evenings we were there. She also showed him how to make a lead for his stuffed alpaca. She was truly an amazing host!! We felt welcomed and comfortable with her and her son, Andrew. We also went to the state park a few miles up the road. Very beautiful park on Lake Corpus Christi. However, we had no luck with the fish. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

This beautiful and spacious home was perfect for our family! It had very convenient access to the grocery store and to the beach. I definitely recommend this to anyone and look forward to coming back.

Location was convenient. The condo was very clean! Linens smelled great! And the host was very quick to respond and very friendly! Only con is that the building is old and under construction. I’m sure it will be great once the improvements are done!

The place is in a great location, quiet neighborhood, restaurants and mall nearby. The house was spotless inside. Cozy beds and great showers made our stay comfortable. We’re saving this for future stays!

Keith's place is beautiful! A ten minute drive from Mustang Island, South Padre Island, HEB, and many shopping centers, it was an ideal place for a family getaway. They had accessable amenities, which was amazing for my elderly grandmother, who needed a walk in shower. The rest of the home left us with plenty of space for the rest of our party, and everything was perfectly organized and labeled for easy use! A long weekend at a good hotel would have cost twice as much, and left us with a quarter of the space, so thank you Kieth for the amazing deal on a wonderful place to stay!

We left. We had a great stay. Here is our review: We had a truly wonderful stay! The home is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with high-quality All-Clad pots and pans, and the bedding was top-notch—super comfortable and clean. We especially loved the breezy deck with its stunning water view—perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The hosts were incredibly responsive. When we mentioned we could use a few more hangers, they had an Amazon delivery on our doorstep the very next day—above and beyond! This place really has it all. Beautiful, quiet, and thoughtfully equipped. We’d return in a heartbeat. ⸻
