Vacation rentals in Geisei, Aki District

Staying at Roseanne’s place was an absolute joy. Her beautiful house was immaculate and so aesthetically pleasing. Roseanne met us when we arrived, showed us round and offered lots of recommendations and local knowledge in addition to the list she sent before we checked in. We went to Nakatsu Gorge which was stunning as well as the Shimanto River. We went to a local restaurant called Yakiniku which had the best beef we’ve ever eaten and also took a drive to eat at Chika which was an incredible Izakaya place serving up many different delicious dishes including lots of local fish. The only problem with our time in Shimanto was we didn’t stay long enough! Such a beautiful part of Japan with some of the most friendly and welcoming people we’ve met on our trip. Roseanne’s place is the perfect base to explore and then return to and really relax as well. She is a lovely host, so friendly and generous with her time and knowledge of the locality. Highly recommend!

The descriptions and photos matched what we saw in this place. Since the place was next to the highway's entrance, it was a bit difficult to drive to it, especially for the first time coming here. Be careful, don't go to the highway. The house was quite clean and it had all the stuff that we needed. It had a simple kitchen and we had cooked many times here. We had a great stay here and the bathroom, toilet, and heater were perfect. Thank you to the staff for preparing all the things that we needed here.

今回男5人で1泊2日。 宿は掲載の写真通りで、開放感抜群。 清潔感、充実度、オシャレさ、ホストの明るさ…全て文句なし。 露天風呂、サウナは無限に居座れるほど快適。 室内での焼肉も気になる点はない。 プライベート空間でのカラオケは非日常。 まるで夢。 そんな場所であった。

We feel privileged to have been able to stay in such a beautiful home. Stylish and so comfortable. A fabulously welcoming host with wonderful recommendations. Would love to have stayed longer but a rushed itinerary meant we could only stay two nights. Lovely village where we were able to see a local autumn festival taking place. The experience was so memorable. Would definitely return and recommend without hesitation.

房東非常友善，會一一介紹房內設施及附近景點，房間跟照片相符，是間漂亮的小木屋，可容納多人入住 附近超市跟超商大約15分鐘內車程可抵達 房內有壁爐可使用，房東提供柴薪，也可以租借BBQ設備 廚房還有提供咖啡機跟磨豆機，很適合在這裡入住多天

静かな場所にあり、歩いて2分のところにとてもおいしい街中華があり、5分も車を走らせれば日帰り温泉も併設されてる道の駅があってとても満足できた二日間でした！ 　その道の駅はビーチも目の前にあって、ゆっくり時間を過ごせる場所でした！ 　都会に疲れた方にとてもおすすめな場所です！ あと改善箇所があるとしたら、宿泊施設内の携帯電波がauは、ギリギリ一本しかありません。 　できれば、Wi-Fi環境の設置か、おすすめの電波があれば教えてもらえると、次の人が快適に過ごせるとおもいます！🤙 　とても、ゆっくりとまったりした2泊3日をすごせました！　また、お邪魔するとおもいますので、よろしくお願いします。

The house is extremely good for having a warm night even though it is extremely cold outside. We like the BBQ done in the balcony and playing card games inside the house. It's easy to get all the required items, food and condiments, from the supermarkets nearby.

ご親切できさくなオーナーさんで二週間弱安心して過ごせました！ 初日迎えにきて頂き、滞在中車まで貸して頂きとても助かりました。とても可愛いtiny house からは全ての窓から木が見えて天窓からは星が見えて、テラスからは山が見えました！ 家の周りの歩くだけで、自然に癒されました。サーフィンレッスンも、一生の思い出になりました！また遊びにきます！！

We had a comfortable stay here, and the GPS location sent to me was accurate. So, I could check in late at night easily. Also, there was enough space to park the car, and the convenience store was so close, a 5-minute driving distance. The place was extremely clean and matched the description and photos provided. The equipment and other stuff were easy to use, and we had cooked a great dinner here. Thank you Kana, for preparing the place for us; we had a very comfortable stay and rest here.
