Waterfront vacation rentals in Gauja

This was one of our favourite places we've stayed and we highly recommended! The photos really don’t do it justice, as the flat is much more spacious than it appears and very well equipped. The location was ideal, right on the edge of the Old Town, making it easy to pop in and out. The host also thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, and sugar. We'd also recommend grabbing a bite at the Big Bad Bagel shop down the road. A few minor downsides: there are no blinds in the bathroom, and the flat’s temperature wasn’t anywhere near 22°C and we arrived on a cold spell. There are two additional electric radiators, set to 19°C, but to activate them you need to unplug and plug them back in, and they automatically switch off after about an hour. Finding the flat was also a bit tricky, we missed the entrance as the Casino sign is a sticker on the window of the door, which isn't clearly marked. It took us some time to get in, and unfortunately, it was pouring rain at the time.

Я бы с уверенностью могла рекомендовать эту квартиру для время провождения в Риге. Татьяна очень приятная и отзывчивая. Большое ей спасибо за предоставленное жилье. Oleg is a good host, he answers fast. We had a nice stay in Riga and no problems with the apartment. Its a calm building, a good area close to the old town and has anything you need for a short stay.

We visited for the marathon weekend and was the perfect location, right on the finish line. Igal and Dace were very helpful, getting in touch with information before our trip including the benefit of downloading the bolt app for travel, providing recommendations for things to do for both us and the kids and the apartment had everything we needed. Instructions for getting in to the apartment were great with Dace sending photographs of the doors we were looking for along with key codes which made everything super easy. I would highly recommend for a good base to explore old town Riga.

Absolutely loved my stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and everything I needed was provided. The host was friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Nice place for a short trip to Riga. It’s a little bit outside of the touristic city centre so it’s more calm but the city centre is still easy to reach

Our family of 4 stayed in this apartment for a short visit in the city. Coincidentally, we didn't have a car at the time, but there are bus stops nearby, and the distances in the city are also walkable. The apartment itself is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. The view to the river from the terrace is great, and the neighborhood is peaceful. Einar, the host, is friendly, helpful and responsive. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

A hidden gem on the Baltic coast that will make you fall in love with Latvia. The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience!

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

We loved our stay at Nora’s place. She was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The setting was peaceful and serene—exactly what we needed on a rainy day. We especially enjoyed the relaxing sauna and the pond for cooling down afterward. A truly refreshing experience!

Der Urlaub im Haus bei Elita war Goldwert. Die Lage des Häuschens ist einfach perfekt für alle, die sich über Ruhe und Meeresrauschen im Hintergrund freuen. Das Haus liegt mitten im Wald und in wenigen Schritten ist man Meer. Die Inneneinrichtung des Hauses ist einfach wunderschön und so liebevoll gestaltet. Die Küche ist richtig gut ausgestattet und auch mit mehr als genug Geschirr ausgerüstet. Ein Highlight ist auch der Schweden Ofen im Wohnzimmer. Die Begegnung mit Elita war super herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und es super doll genossen.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage war auch super schön und man hatte wirklich alles zum glücklich sein. Zu dem war die Kommunikation super schnell und gut und unkompliziert. Es wurde direkt auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und flexibel drauf reagiert. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Wir fühlte uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und hat einen authentischen Touch. Es gibt viele Spiele und Angebote sich die Zeit zu vertreiben. Rihards war sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Jegliche Fragen wurden beantwortet und wurde seine Hilfe benötigt, war er innerhalb von ein paar Minuten zur Stelle. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden es jedem weiterempfehlen :)

Perfect little "chalet" in Latvian countryside. We enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect. Ieva was very helpful and responsive as always. It was our third time and we will come again next year for sure!

The house was amazing! The location was very good, tram and bus is literally 2 min away and the old town is just one bus stop! You can even arrive there by passing the stone bridge. The house was very clean and very nicely decorated, as also the building in overall. Very quiet and comfortable beds so sleep was perfect. The only thing we did not like was the pillows. It would be nice having a bit more variety of options.

We had a wonderful stay in Sanna's apartment. The location is ideal between the beach and the city centre so you can walk almost everywhere. There was a private parking spot and the house is beautiful. The apartment is spacious and well furnished with everything you need. The big balcony with sofas is a big plus! Everything was clean and in order. Communication with Sanna was smooth. Can highly recommend this apartment!

Super nice view from the apartment, which was also clean and comfy. The host was helpful and check-in and check out went smoothly.

A beautiful, well-maintained garden is a big advantage of this apartment. We spent a good time in the apartment with three kids. The house is easy to find, is on the busy street though, so one of the room is quite noisy, if sleeping with an open window.

Asunto jopa ylitti odotukset – se oli erittäin tilava, kodikas ja siisti. Pidimme erityisesti ihanasta parvekkeesta, myös sauna oli kiva lisä! Kaikki oli täsmälleen kuvauksen mukaista ja asunnossa oli kaikki, mitä tarvitsimme mukavaan majoittumiseen. Ehdottomasti suosittelen!

Beautiful and comfortable apartment and the location was perfect for our plans in Riga. Quiet neighbourhood with a great restaurant just a short walk away. The apartment is very nice and comfortable, with everything you might need for your stay. Highly recommended!

Lena à été une super hôte pendant tout mon séjour. Ne connaissant pas Riga elle m'a toujours conseillé et aider pour trouver les meilleures activités et les plus beaux endroits à visiter. Je reviendrai certainement à Riga et si elle le permet cela sera dans son appartement. Merci Lena.

we had a lovely stay at kristianas place for the Riga marathon. the place was even more spacious than expected and everything was a walking distance. the area is quite peaceful and close to the markets. She was very easy to communicate with.
