Places to stay in Gatesville

Lai's place feels like a home away from home. Weve stayed several times for medical appointments and the location is perfect. Its a quiet peaceful neighborhood and a perfect fully fenced yard for our dog. Lai always responds quickly. Great place to put your feet up and stay awhile.

Loved the tree house that we stayed in. Chip and Ms.Patty ( the miniature house ) made the experience that much greater. Would recommend to anyone interested in escaping the busy city life

We loved, loved, loved this home! It was so peaceful and we even got visited by a few deer! We have this place saved to favorites and will definitely visit again.

We got into Waco, TX before check-in time and messaged to see if we could come early. They messaged back right away and said “of course!” The place blew our expectations out of the water. It was even better than the pictures! It was cozy, cute, and felt so safe during our stay. The whole time we talked about if we were to come back to Waco (which we totally will) that we would stay at this place again 100%! Also, my husband wanted to sneak the bed into our car… he loved it! We did not steal it though but it was tempting! Thanks for a great stay and can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay in Waco - this cottage was perfect for our family of 3 plus pups. Great location by Cameron Park, the zoo, museums, and restaurants. The enclosed backyard was a huge bonus and was peaceful and shady. The inside was very clean and cozy, and felt very private. The hosts were incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and very responsive. Would absolutely stay again and hope we have an excuse to visit Waco again soon so we can come back!

We had the most fun on our mother/daughter/granddaughter trip to Magnolia and Urban Myrtle was the icing on the cake. The house was cozy, cute, comfy and so well appointed with super comfortable beds, beautiful decor and a coffee lover's dream with the setup in the adorable kitchen. We walked nearly everywhere we wanted to visit and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jodie for sharing this lovely spot!

It’s a lovely retreat, and Lisa is a wonderful host! Also, her dog Wilson provides great company and comedic relief. She was also very open and receptive to feedback. I tend to prefer a firmer mattress for sleeping, and had a hard time sleeping on the queen mattress. She said she would look into whether an affordable mattress replacement is needed and thanked me for my feedback. I’d come back here happily and often with a slight mattress upgrade 🤗 Hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay in Texas! The host was very responsive and helpful. The communication could not have been better. The place was easy to find and located in a peaceful, safe area. It was easy to get to Waco attractions and restaurants. The cottage was lovely and smelled amazing! If I’m ever in the area again, I’d love to return to this cozy cottage!
