Cozy apartment in historic half-timbered house

Historic and individual vacation on Westrügen. Beautiful, personal, small apartment in an old craftsman house from 1750 in the center of the village of Gingst. Located on the second floor, on the market side, with low wooden beam ceiling and historic windows. Away from the tourist crowds at the entrance to the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park. Close to nature but with infrastructure: gastronomy, organic shop, handicrafts, ceramics and a very special bookstore in the immediate neighborhood.

Old charm with a fresh breeze in the manor house

Our old estate is located in the middle of Rügen. We have freshly renovated a cozy apartment in the manor house. On Reischvitz, it is really dark and really quiet in the evening. A treat! When you open the window to the park, the birds wake you up in the morning. Reischvitz invites you to take wonderful walks around the park. From here, you can reach the Bodden in 10 minutes with a sandy beach and enchanting sunset. Or in 5 minutes at the Störtebeker Festival. The Baltic Sea beach is 20 minutes away.

The Alte Försterei is located in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest - ideal for enjoying peace and quiet. The apartment is very cozy and open. In the winter, it is particularly nice to enjoy the fire after a trip to Rügen or Usedom. In the evening, in the clear sky, it is worth going outside and admiring the stars in the deep darkness. It feels like you are at the edge of the world here, a garden full of trees with a view of the Mecklenburg prairie. The apartment has its own entrance and garden area. 4 sheep and 5 cats inhabit the large garden. 2 e-bikes can be rented. Wood-burning stove sauna & hot pot are available for a fee. The village of Barlin is a very nice place to vacation with horses and a playground. Forest and lakes are close. We former Berliners live next door as a family.

Small holiday bungalow detached for up to 5 people. Optimal for two or three. 5 would rather be 2 adults with 3 middle-aged kids. Ideal for people looking for peace "without" all the tourist hustle and bustle, with natural stands nearby. Palmer Ort, Yellow shore or campsite beach Pritzwald (see photos). Not far from the cottage is Boddengewässer. Stralsund is 26 kilometers to Binz 32. They are within half an hour of almost all the hotspots on the island.

We rent our cozy, stylish vacation home in the quiet west of Rügen. Our daughter calls it "Familienkate Schwalbenflug" [Swallow Flight Family Cottage], and that fits. There are 4 bedrooms available for adults and children. The house was thoroughly renovated by 2020, has a modern kitchen and two beautiful shower rooms, a sitting area with fireplace and a terrace overlooking the riding stable and horse paddock.
