This 120 year old home is a historical two story house with five bedrooms and two full bathrooms……and the first house built on this block in Galveston Island in 1901. Our vacation rental is perfect, for multi-generational large families. Across Galveston Seawall Blvd to Pleasure Pier and the beach The family fun begins downstairs with 2 large living areas and an extremely well stocked kitchen!! The front porch and balcony run the width of the house with Gulf views and refreshing sea breezes.

It's pertinent that the pets are pre approved so we can take precautions such as pet covers for the couch etc. Non approved pets will require a $300.00 cleaning fee if not pre approved in advance. The 1847 Powhattan House & Living History Museum

Until there is time-travel, staying in the 1847 Powhatan House may be the next best thing. This is the 3rd oldest house in Galveston and has an amazing, almost unbelievable history. This beautiful Greek Revival style home is located 3 blocks from the beach and close to the Strand. The story of the house is told in a brief documentary on YouTube entitled “The Amazing History of Galveston's 1847 Powhatan House.”
