Large villa with sea access (house D)

LĂviaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Great house with sea access (not a beach but a rocky waterfront well signalled that allows access to swim). I love the location, which is walkable to Castro’s old town and Castro Marina seaside (although, in my opinion, a car is mandatory here). Spacious and charming. Very responsive and polite hosts. The only caveat is the fact that you need to pay extra for linen, towels, cleaning, and electrical charges and put in a security deposit, which is not standard with other Airbnb houses (and I've been renting houses all over the world for the past 10+ years). But the price was very affordable, and the hosts communicated the extra charges well in advance, so we were well informed and accepted the extra payments. But I recommend reading the whole listing information carefully to avoid surprises. It’s my third year spending my summer holidays in Castro, and I felt confident about booking this house because I knew the area well. I would recommend this house to other travellers.

VILLA IN SALENTO, PORTO CESAREO

Lukas OleRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a great stay! Enzo is the best host one can imagine. Gifted us some wine, bakeries and a pannetone for new years eve as we arrived. Two days later he got us some traditional stuff from a pasticceria. We loved all of the italian flavor! Also there are many beautiful cities with even more beautiful historic centers around and easy to reach. 10/10 would recommend and also we do! Thanks Enzo!

Alice and Rossella vacation home

We highly recommend staying at Mario's house because "everything is like home." And, since Salento is beautiful to visit, the location is ideal for a stay of even 15 days. We stayed 10 days but if we can next time we'll stay 15 because there are still many beaches to explore. Mario and his family are exquisite people, discreet but at the same time always ready to solve any problem. We really enjoyed it!

Giovani has been a very welcoming host and extremely at the service The house and all the exteriors are really very nice, the presence of the garden and shaded patio with the fruit trees and pergolas are great The proximity to the small cafe of the square where you will find the best ice cream was a real plus and the first beaches are a few minutes away We recommend this lovely peaceful and charming place that we will happily return to.
