Schöne, ruhige Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Etwas außerhalb, aber mit Pickme kein Problem. Die Küche entspricht nicht europäischen Standards. Braucht man aber nicht, da Frühstück angeboten wird. Wir würden sowieso empfehlen Essen zu gehen. Es gibt in Galle und Umgebung unzählige Möglichkeiten. Geheimtipp: Koggalla Beach. Traumhaft schön und leer. Kein Risiko Touristen, aus einem Land das derzeit in Europa eher unbeliebt ist, über den Weg zu laufen.

We had a great stay! The room was very good—newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well thought-out. The host was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Communication was smooth, and their hospitality really stood out. I would definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it to others!

A perfect stay with a lovely family as hosts. Right from the booking to the day of check-in and beyond, Chanuka was very proactive in checking on us, recommending modes of travel, nearby restaurants, and everything! We had a warm welcome by Chanuka's father with a refreshing welcome drink who showed us around the place and offered assistance anytime. Just as a family member would, he advised us to be careful while stepping out at night, offered to cook food, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Meeting and interacting with Chanuka and his lovely family was truly a pleasure. Mango House 1 is just perfect in every aspect with every facility available for a comfortable stay, and is maintained very well with great personal attention. We were even offered an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and it was super delicious and healthy. I gladly 100% recommend Chanuka's Mango House 1 as the best place to stay in Galle for a loving memory to cherish always!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ghazzali's place. Ghazzali was super friendly and helpful. The property is beautifully furnished and we really appreciated the thoughtful decor. We really felt at home, it is definitely not the bare and souless experience you get with a lot of Airbnb properties. We are a family of 5 and the property layout worked really well for us. Everyone had enough space plus the washing machine was a godsend! Everything was spotlessly clean and worked perfectly. Can't recommend Ghazzali and the property enough!

Ce lieu a une âme. Tout était encore mieux que la description de la maison, le jardin est un véritable paradis où l’on ne lasse pas d’observer et écouter la vie. Osman est une personne extraordinaire, à l’écoute, fine, excellent cuisinier, les enfants et nous nous sommes très bien entendu avec lui. Tam toujours réceptive et réactive avec les messages. Nous n’avons qu’une envie, c’est revenir! Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour avoir fait de notre séjour ici un moment inoubliable de notre voyage au Sri Lanka.

Dear Lahiru, and Uncle, Just a heartfelt thank you for a wonderful stay at your villa on Lake Koggala, truly one of the highlights of our trip. Peaceful, relaxing, and full of unforgettable moments. The setting was magical. Waking to the sounds of wildlife, watching bats sweep across the sunset sky, it all felt alive and special. The variety of birds was incredible, and the monkeys made us feel like nature was putting on a show. The pool was a favorite for both me and our 12-year-old—simple joy at its best. The food was another highlight: every meal delicious, full of local flavor, and clearly made with care. After days of exploring, surfing, and touring, returning to the villa felt like stepping into paradise. The sunsets over the lake and the peaceful energy helped us slow down and truly soak it all in. Dom jest olbrzymi i bardzo ładny . Położony poza turystyczną częścią co jest dodatkowym atutem . Łatwy dostęp do sklepów , apteki czy plaży . Dom ma 4 sypialnie niezależne ze swoimi łazienkami , dużą przestrzeń wspólną - salon , jadalnie - kuchnię . Mable nowe i bardzo wygodne . Łóżka też olbrzymie i super wygodne . Duży ogród i piękne tarasy . Chętnie zatrzymamy się w domu następnym razem . Polecam wszystkim to miejsce . Komunikacja z opiekunami domu bardzo dobra .

I had an amazing stay at Dilhan’s place! The house is big, spacious, and really well laid out, making it a comfortable and relaxing spot. The location is fantastic—just a few minutes’ walk to both the beach and the lake, which makes it perfect for enjoying nature. The wildlife here is truly magical. I saw monkeys, incredible birds, and even some animals I didn’t know existed. It’s been such a unique experience being surrounded by so much nature. On top of that, the host has been incredibly nice and friendly, always helping us with whatever we needed. One big plus is the Wi-Fi—it’s really strong, which made things so much easier. Overall, an unforgettable stay, and I’d definitely come back!

Darshaka and his mother are very kind and helpful and we had a warm welcome. Darshaka advices and helped us booking all kind of tours. His mother is an absolute cooking queen! If you want she can cook the most delicious dishes for you or she can give you a cooking class so you can learn and experience Sri Lanka’s local tasts😋. I would certainly recommend this place if you want to feel at home!
