This chalet made for the perfect getaway. Plenty of spaces to gather and spend time with your loved ones and it has amazing views. Secluded enough to have privacy but a short 10 minute drive to town. Exactly like the photos. Stephanie was amazing and extremely responsive!

We had an incredible time! The property is absolutely stunning. It is so serene and peaceful and the epitome of modern country living. Would definitely come back!

This was our second time at Ho Hum East and we had a great time! The new deck updates were super nice adding outdoor space to layout food and enjoy most meals on the deck. The outdoor kitchen wasn't completed yet but, will be a great addition to the new deck when it's done. The main bath was newly remodeled and was very nice and spacious. The lake front was well maintained and a great space for us to spend most of our time enjoying the water, sun, fishing, boating, nature and wildlife. The dock was a little wobbly although, we were told that was being replaced at some point but it worked for us. The airbnb owner provided a paddleboard, rubber raft, corn hole boards and other outdoor items to use. The proximity of the home was only a few minutes from amenities i.e. pool, golf course, beach and The Cove (restaurant). The only drawback is all the steps - it would be great if there was a pulley system or other system to take items up and down the steps from the house to the lake front.

Cute room in a unique old building. Everything has been refurbished and it's gorgeous. Huge room with king bed. Nice size bathroom. Everything you need to make your morning coffee. Microwave and mini fridge available for use. The place was sparkly clean! On the main road, but pretty quiet when we were there. Darling little river town. Walked down and checked out the lock and dam, then spent some time sitting outside at the River Ridge Brewery. Lovely place with good beer and food. Pack light, spiral staircase is tight, but manageable. Dan was a great communicator! Would def stay again!

Beautiful and peaceful home surrounded by nature. We were looking to “unplug” and spend quality time together. We loved the pond, birdwatching and the hot tub on cold nights. The house is perfect and has everything you need. Downtown Galena is only a short ride away and we enjoyed learning about its rich history. Thank you for letting us into your cozy home.

Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

Katherine's Airbnb was the perfect spot to unwind and be with nature. The space is about 15 minutes from downtown Galena, the drive is doable, but you really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere! It is situated in a wooded area, located up in the hills, surrounded by beautiful trees, wildlife, and farmland. Minimal sound or light pollution - truly peaceful! The space itself looked identical to the pictures listed. The design choices were perfect. Giving the space a cozy, clean, and updated feel while encasing some of its original charm. The only heads up I will give folks is that there is only a stove, not an oven, to cook with, but there is a microwave. Aside from that, the kitchen had all the other tools needed to cook! I would definitely come back here!

This was the cutest rental ever!! We felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was so clean and updated and we loved it all!! From the patio out back to the beds and comfortable couch!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories we created!!

Great outdoor spaces that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Access to golf, Owner’s Club, walkable areas made the visit even more pleasant.

Everything was great! Phil was very communicative and detailed about directions. The only downside is that I had to collect the trash and drive it to a drop off location a few miles down the road. Other than that, we all really enjoyed our stay.

The townhouse was great! We had plenty of space for our dog and two sons. The walking paths were great and there was something for all of us to do.

The check-in process was smooth, and the Host was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, and we really appreciated the little touches that made the stay extra comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area, and I hope to stay again in the future. Thank you for a great experience!

Great base to explore Galena and the surroundings. We enjoyed the amenities in the owners club house, lots to do up there.

Our stay at Rosebud Rentals was nothing short of phenomena!! The place was completely stunning! They provided very clear instructions for check in and check out! They went above and beyond and provided information incase we needed anything or wanted inspiration for what to do around the rental! We had such an amazing time here! This is the 2nd time I booked Laurie's place, so you know we were pleased the first time. It didn't disappoint. Last time was for our son's wedding, this time was for our future daughter-in-law's girls' weekend. House was perfect for hanging out, close to downtown for shopping and a night out.

Great stay for our group while in town for a friends wedding. Jessica's townhome is very nice!

Tiffany was a kind and communicative host. We enjoyed our time here and the boys golfed all weekend at surrounding golf courses. The place was incredibly clean and well appointed. Lots of space for us to hang and play cards at night and we enjoyed playing in the yard one afternoon as well. It’s a place away from it all. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful tranquil home with lots of amenities. Brian was terrific and so close to downtown Galena! Will definitely book again!
