Cabin vacation rentals in Galax

Everything was great. Loved the porch and the views. Lots of great extras such as coffee pods, spices, paper products, etc.

May be one of my favorite mountain stays I’ve had! Definitely will be back!

Both the cabin and location were absolutely beautiful! Tucked away and private, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away. The hot tub worked perfectly, and was very clean. Highly recommend!

Jason’s place is perfect for a short getaway. You can see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains while you’re enjoying the outdoor hot tub. The place is small but very well maintained and thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time here. To note for those who are not from this area, there might be some bugs. I recommend bringing bug spray with you. Yet I was able to enjoy the place with a peace of mind despite my serious bug phobia. So it’s absolutely fine for ordinary people. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect prelude to our wedding week and a great place to stay for the All Star Race. Host was responsive and the cabin matched all the photos. Great experience.

Adorable little cabin! My best friend and I went for a girls trip and enjoyed sitting on the back porch, listening to the birds and creek flow. Perfect little getaway spot with everything you would need! Close to wineries and downtown.

The view is amazing, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peacefulness and amazing views. The cabin was very clean and spacious. Beds are so comfy. Thank you for sharing this cabin with us.

Very quiet and peaceful location with farm/country scenery all around. Cabin was cozy and comfortable ... ideal for a couple. The host was very responsive and also informative about nearby points of interest. We enjoyed our stay.

This was the most relaxing, peaceful and carefree weekend we have ever had. My husband and our 2 kids and 2 dogs had the most fun, and we didn’t even feel the need to be on our phones or watch tv! The cabin felt like home; so much so, that we didn’t want to leave. My husband and I are already planning a trip back. Carey was an amazing hostess and we are so appreciative that she opened her home to us. The views were breathtaking. We literally sat outside all weekend. We only went inside to cook and sleep. Oh! And we got to enjoy a meteor shower Saturday night! Super awesome!! And, even cooler, there’s a dollar general market at the end of the main road! Coolest thing I’ve ever seen! So you don’t need to bring a bunch of food! We drove 5 hours to come stay here, and honestly, I would drive 10 just to come back. This cabin was every bit of home and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic house with plenty of space. Well provision kitchen. Gorgeous views. Close to Galax. Very conducive to outdoor living and generally good for the soul.

We loved staying at this Airbnb. The location was perfect for day trips to Grayson Highlands State Park, as well as to Sparta, Galax, etc. The house had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs bed is extremely comfortable. The location/surroundings were beautiful -- and it was very quiet! We sat on the porch, listened to the river, watched the wildlife, and used the fire pit. A couple FYIs: Since there's no wifi in the Airbnb, I did want to mention that cell coverage is spotty. Also, the upstairs bedrooms have low ceilings, and one bedroom doesn't have a door (which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for other folks). Overall, we had an amazing trip weekend and are so glad we were able to stay at this location. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We will stay here again if we're in the area.

The house and surroundings is one of the prettiest places we’ve stayed. For the two of us and dog it was the perfect size. The big tv in the family room was terrific, thank goodness because it rained the whole time we were there so we watched several movies. The screen porch was also a big plus with the rainy weather. I enjoyed the kitchen; I was impressed by how nice and plentiful the pots and pans were. The river view is spectacular.

This cabin is amazing and the setting by the creek is so beautiful and relaxing. The host's have really gone above and beyond to insure the space is clean and is equipped with everything you could need! I highly recommend a stay here.

This was our second stay. Jennifer and David are amazing hosts and have thought of everything. It’s such a wonderful cabin to relax in after long hikes. Hope to return again!

What an oasis! So many fun activities to do here at the cabin! Close to beautiful hiking, waterfalls, & such a cozy place to stay. It was better than the pictures and our family was sad to leave!!

Ive been on Airbnb forabout 8 years now and Pam and Clyde were thebest hosts ive come across. Pammie responds almost immediately and her answers and help are thorough. The cabin is wonderful and well kitted out. We went walking in the hills and enjoyed sitting on the verandah watching the birds go to the feeders. This is a great place for a rural retreat

Recommend this cozy cabin to all of you who is looking for a peaceful and beautiful surroundings on top of the mountain. Trails are not far away, same with a grocery store’s. Plenty of space to play with a family or just walk around in the morning cloud while drinking coffee. High clearance vehicle is mandatory to get there.

The cabin had great views and was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway for us! Cozy and beautiful space with a great firepit area for relaxing evenings!

Our long weekend spent at the cabin and around the area was spectacular! The cabin had everything we needed & the wifi worked no problem. We walked the river & fished, spent lots of time out on the deck. We would love to stay at the Cabin again! Definitely a special place.

Scott is a great host.He tried to help us to find the place.Warm up the house before we arrival and welcome our later arrival.He is super sweet and nice!

Such a hidden gem!!! We enjoyed every second. The cabin was clean and cozy. Couldn't get enough of the beauty that surrounded us. Stores were only 20 minutes away. We couldn't ask for a better time. Thanks Darlene and Pete.

What an incredible, warm and comfortable cabin. It was the perfect base to explore local towns or just relax and stay in and enjoy the cabin experience! It’s so beautifully decorated. We wish we could have stayed longer. Gerald is an extremely thoughtful host and had great local suggestions. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven!!

Pop’s cabin was so cute and cozy, but what really makes the stay is the absolutely incredible view. Perfect place for a couple looking for a getaway or a small family vacation. The surroundings were so peaceful, there was always a nice breeze any time we stepped out onto the porch, and we enjoyed spending our time soaking in the view. Has all the amenities listed so all that is really necessary to pack is yourself and Rebecca was a great host who checked in to make sure things were going well and communicated clearly. Highly recommend.
