Cosy studio annex

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden with access from the rear. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

This stone built single story little cottage is set in a court yard that was part of the farm that supplied food for the Marquess of Bute at Cardiff Castle just half a mile away. This charming old cottage was probably an animal barn. A Perfect quiet location in the centre of the vibrant city. it has its own WIFI. Please note that it is NOT Blackweir Terrace (which is about 200 yards the other side of the road) but Google maps have overruled me! See directions after you book.

Such a beautiful home I was thrilled when I walked in! Awesome decor and beautiful landscape. Pictures don’t do it justice actually. I stayed for 5days and the neighbourhood is peaceful and the bed was comfy with fresh bed and towel linens. Tons of green space in the area too if you like going for walks. Full access to the kitchen as well. I stayed there solo as Ian was away, so sadly I never met him personally. However, we kept in touch the whole time and he graciously suggested tons of places to eat/drink. Have stayed in several Bnb’s and this one is an easy rate of 10/10 and Ian is a gem!

Anu was very responsive right from the beginning of our stay until the very end. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to meet Anu in person but we never felt her absence. She ensured her helper was there in person to ensure we had a seamless check in and were nice and comfortable throughout our stay. It was clear how much effort Anu puts into maintaining the home and the gardens that we were in awe of! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we would 110% recommend this home to anyone looking to reside in Cardiff! Thank you for having us :)

You wont go wrong spending time with Kim and Phil who are excellent hosts. A lovely room in a period house with private ensuite. Very welcoming and helpful, with those little touches that make such a difference. In a quiet residential area walkable for Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Castle and Principality Stadium. Definitely my first place to look when I am next staying in Cardiff

What can I say? From the moment I arrived, Naomi was warm and welcoming and made me feel completely at home. She was full of great recommendations for coffee shops and nearby restaurants (there are a number of great ones) and knowledgable about fun day trips and local must-sees. Along with her husband Dave and son Michael, Naomi made my stay a lovely and stress-free one and I would wholeheartedly recommend their home for a stay in Cardiff. Thank you so much, Naomi. You couldn't possibly have been a more gracious host. :)
