We had a great time at Laurence's place. She was a perfect host: communicative, proactive and very flexible on check-in and check-out times, which was greatly appreciated. She also gave us valuable tips on things to do in Marseille. The apartment was superb, perfectly consistent with the photos, clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the city. We highly recommend this listing and will happily come back during our next visit to Marseille!

Somehow this listing was even more beautiful than the photos! The view is unmatched and hard to find in other areas of town because of how the mountains face. There were tons of pillows, blankets, etc. Our only issue was the power went out on the last night and we did not get a quick response but the host said there was a problem with the Airbnb app. Overall, this was a great stay and amazing value.

We were very satisfied, a well run operation! The apartment is very small but efficiently designed for a couple. It was intimate and atmospheric. Faces the back, so quiet. High up, so affording a pleasant view of terracotta rooftops. Bohemian in the best sort of way. You will get some exercise climbing the stairs. I would like to mention that although some reviewers complained about the bathroom door and the toilet seat, these were both repaired and functional when we stayed in October 2024.

Fabienne’s place was just what we needed in the heart of Aix. It was a quick 7 min walk to the center of the city. The balcony was peaceful, bed comfortable, bathroom and living space spacious. Everything you need! Not to mention a private garage attached to the unit for safe parking if you have a car, which was a plus for us. Happy with our stay!

Apartment is corresponding to the description and photos. Easy to reach on foot from the train station in about 15 minutes, alternatively 1 station by metro and 5 minutes by foot. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Small shops and bakery within walking distance. The apartment is on the 5th floor without an elevator! The view over the rooftops of Marseille compensates for this. There is an extra 5 stars for the balcony. You should know that the access to the bathroom is very narrow! The apartment is recommended!

Thanks again for a great stay! Nadia and Christian are very nice, the accommodation is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. It has everything you need for a great stay! Despite the windows overlooking the boulevard, we found the apartment to be very quiet. Close to the train station and very well located to do everything on foot. We were a group of 8 girls for an EVJF and we had a great time! We'll be happy to go back!

Absolutely loved it here! The apartment was just like the photos - so pretty & peaceful! It felt like a retreat. We also felt very safe being inside a gated complex. It was an easy 20ish min drive to Cassis. Stephane was very kind and especially helpful when it came to an issue with our car. Would definitely stay here again!

Very good stay spent at La Ciotat, ideal setting for a real rest in September, Florence the concierge perfectly welcomed us and informed us, the comfortable and very well-equipped apartment is very well located, quiet. We enjoyed the calanques, beaches, walks, the green island, restaurants, all without a car. We recommend.

Its location in the heart of a small typical Provençal village allowed us to pick up bread on foot every morning and enjoy the market on Tuesday morning. The accommodation is not large but well designed, very well-equipped. Chris is available and responsive. The arrival and departure in complete autonomy is a real plus. All the best!

The highlight is definitely the balcony with it's stunning views which constantly change with the light and the weather. Muted pinks at dawn, the red rocks of Cap Canaille and the deep blue of the evenings. The apartment is in a lovely area with easy walks to everything you need. Tourist Information Office is very helpful. You won't need to go far. just stay on the balcony.

We chose to stay at Mehdi’s place for several reasons. First the local access to the airport in Marseille France. It is super close and very very convenient. There are great restaurants nearby, one of which we ate at based on his suggestion. It was absolutely a perfect way to reset our selves to the French style of eating and relaxation. The second reason was that it looked to be a very nice place, and we were not disappointed. All the boxes were ticked. Thirdly the cost was great, so it was an easy decision. Add to that his attention to detail, friendliness, and availability for questions and suggestions is simply outstanding. If you are flying into or out of Marseille, this is an ideal location. In fact, we are booked to stay with him again for a couple of nights at the end of our trip and we’re looking forward to it. We highly suggest that you book with him when traveling to this area.

We received a great welcome despite our delay. Gorgeous home base for a fun and relaxing family vacation; teens/young adults can venture out on their own AND have privacy in their own rooms. Fabulously stocked kitchen including soap, some cooking staples. Markets Tu/Th/Sat are right outside the door offering fresh produce, incredible prepared foods, cheeses. Too many nearby patisseries to count!!! Impeccablely maintained, lots of linens, towels. And it was great to have a washer/dryer. Beautiful operable windows, amazing afternoon sunlight drenched the living room. Would definitely rent again. Loved every minute.
