Stayed long-term at this property (almost 6 weeks), and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The place is exactly as described — clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped for both short and long stays. The location is perfect, with the beach just a stone’s throw away, and the terrace is a wonderful spot to relax. Many restaurants, cafe and grocery stores are very nearby. What made the stay even better were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable, even getting me a beach chair so I could fully enjoy the nearby beach. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your fabulous hospitality.

a very clean, apartment in a smart block on the edge of town. overlooking the harbour, on a main road but quiet at night. 2 minutes walk to a very clean launderette and well stocked supermarket. Apartment was spacious and well equipped and furnished. As per the description, everything was within a 10-15 minute flat walk from the apartment. a nice balcony which caught the morning sun and overlooked the harbour. We were welcomed by Rui who took the time to explain where places were, including a 5 minute walk to the ferry to the island. The apartment was very secure with good locks on all external doors, there was also an enclosed balcony at the rear where laundry could be aired. all in all a great apartment in a pleasant town . would certainly return.

This is a lovely homelike apartment, there is plenty of space, the apartment catches the sun on both sides as there is a balcony off each side and the roof top terrace gets it all day. There were 3 of us but it would be fine with 6. The pool was being cleaned the first day we were there but Maruja explained and it was ready the 2nd day. Lovely area to enjoy. Really enjoyed this apartment and has everything you need. Thank you.

Great villa/cottage in a good location for local restaurants and beaches. Worked well for us - we (grandparents) had the upstairs en-suite where our daughter/ son-in-law had the two downstairs bedrooms. Nice garden space with decent sized pool - safe for toddler to walk around. Very modern amenities in the villa.

The apartment was exactly as pictured…was clean and compact with a spectacular view of the beach and the entire town. We could watch the sun rise each morning from our patio door as well as watch the lights of the town come on in the evening. The old town was within a ten minute walk, the grocery store was five minutes away and had a good selection. The bus stopped just at the end of the street so you could explore further away. The beach was also ten minutes away. Checkin was easy to follow with no contact. Vitor and his wife were extremely accessible and replied to questions or concerns within minutes. We were looking for a realistic experience while in Portugal and this location provided that.

Close enough to walk (and a pretty walk at that) to anywhere you want to go, but far enough away from the nightlife and music of "the strip" to be quiet for working during the day and sleeping at night. Directly across from the cat jetty (which is fun) and can be walking on the beach in under 3 minutes. The unit looks exactly like the photos, but in person seems nicer as everything was clearly recently renovated/furnished and has been maintained/cleaned well since. Wall heater was helpful for taking the chill out on the spring cold nights we had. The many windows this has between living and bedroom brought fresh air in - I'm sure helpful for airflow in the summer months. The entrance is a shared courtyard with other apartments, the neighbours we met were lovely - apartment feels safe to come-and-go from at all hours. We did laundry and used the laundry on the upper (highest) patio and it dried so quickly.
