The playground & pump track is a 5-minute walk away. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the neighboring village.

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Relax in this special and quiet space. The bathroom and kitchen were completely remodeled in the summer of 2023. It offers stylish furnishings with two box spring double beds. In the kitchen area, the soapstone oven provides cozy hours. The garden and the view over the valley are hard to beat in uniqueness. Portein is in a sunny location in the magnificent hiking area and with many attractions such as the Viamala or the alpine town of Chur.

We offer you a cozy studio in the countryside, in a quiet neighborhood on the slope with fantastic views of the oldest city in Switzerland. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the train station to our house. With large suitcases, I recommend taking a taxi (CHF 15.00). Our house is located on a slope. It goes uphill quite a bit and has many stairs. From the house it's a 5-minute walk to the old town.
