Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fukuoka

It was a trip with my family, and I made precious memories. The host turned on the stove in time for us to check in, so we were able to enter cozy and warm. The house built with eco-friendly ingredients welcomed our family with a pleasant scent of wood. Kitchen utensils, bathroom fixtures, and furniture that were better placed than what was featured in the photos made our stay more convenient. Most importantly, thanks to the clean, quiet, and peaceful surroundings, we were able to have a cozy and comfortable bed. The 9 and 6 year olds who came with us said they wished this was our home and enjoyed our stay. Thank you again for taking this time to the host who used a translator and guided me meticulously even though it was difficult to communicate because I was Korean.

This is my second time staying here and it'll always be my top choice when I'm in the area :) The house is clean and cozy and the surrounding area is so peaceful, quiet, and dreamy. Everything is beautiful and I feel so relaxed staying here. There was a big storm the last time I stayed, but the patio is fully covered, so I got to sit outside and sip my coffee while listening to and watching the rain. The bathroom and kitchen are so well-stocked -- I haven't cooked here but the kitchen makes me want to! John is also a fantastic host who is so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here if you have a chance!

The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

Truly magical place!!! Beautiful house in a super-pretty mountain hamlet, surrounded by forest and with unbelievable views all the way to the distant sea below! Perfect place to relax and watch the seasons slowly change... The house is extremely large and very comfortable, fully equipped with everything necessary. Centrally located with pleasant drives towards the many attractions of central Fukuoka / Dazaifu / Karatsu and beyond. Yamaguchi-san and his wife are amazing hosts, they have treated us with so much kindness and hospitality. Hard to believe now it was all real and not a dream...

Support from the hosts was very friendly.They also told me about recommended restaurants.It was the first time I had tried Wassoba, and it was exquisite.It was in a beautiful natural location with both the sea and stars.The whole family is very satisfied! It was a place I'd like to go in the summer. It was a two-day, one-night trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture, located in the middle of Karatsu Market and Kakushima Bridge, and I enjoyed it.

This place is great. a little on thr pricey side for 2 people if you are on a budget. we lived like locals for a week in a traditional Japanese house in a local neighbourhood right by the beach. it's Massive! lots of things to do. Awsome Coffee shop and cafes just along the road. you need a car. more than everything you need in the place oil, herbs and stuff in the kitchen. lots of cloths to clean up. best part all the stuff written in japanese is labeled into English! even the loo! we definitely reccomend syataying here.

The most beautiful lodge you have ever stayed in, quiet and clean, to the heart of the lodge owner.The location is private, but definitely worth it.

Absolutely perfect place to stay while in Itoshima! When I used to live in Itoshima, I visited this property before but it was a whole different experience to actually stay on the property and sleep there! Me and my family enjoyed the spacious home, the great amenities, and the beautiful views as well. This home is incredibly stunning. If you want to experience a Japanese home while still living similarly to what you’re “used to” as a foreigner, this is the perfect place! Conor is a great host and is always super responsive, we had no problems at all! He really does go above and beyond.
