There are also plenty of seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking, river play, hot springs, and Hokuto City, which is surrounded by famous peaks, has many viewpoints where you can enjoy views of Mt. Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. There is also an abundance of spring water. Please try to find them. The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. There is a Yumichi Morning Cafe on site, and if you book at least the day before, you can eat for 1,300 yen (including consumption tax). It is 1,500 yen with a drink. We are closed in winter. Nearby, about 10 minutes by car, there is Mitsui's Forest, Tateshina Country, and Tateshina Tokyu Golf Course. Fujimi Panorama, Royal Hill, and Twin One Ski Resort are about 20 minutes away by car. It is also an ideal base for climbing at the foot of Yatsugatake. There is also a 7-Eleven, coin laundry and restaurant within a 1-minute walk. JA Pia Midori Supermarket is a 2-minute drive away. Hot springs nearby include Jomon-no-Yu and Shiokama-no-Yu. It is refreshing because of its location at an altitude of 1000 m. The host is always available, so please ask if you have any questions. You can also walk to the bus stop. Kayano Station is a 10-minute drive. Suwa Interchange is 9.4 km and 15 minutes away by car. 8weeks Studio is a fully renovated flat located in a small town shopping district, a 4-minute walk from Fujimi Station. The building, which has been used as a barbershop for over 50 years, has been renovated and reborn as a natural wine bar on the first floor and an Airbnb on the second floor! The guest space is a combination of a living room, dining room, and kitchen with hardwood floors and a bedroom with tatami mats and a sliding door, a fusion of modern and retro styles. Fujimi-cho is an area famous for mountain biking and hiking in the rich nature. Fujimi Shopping Street, where unique shops such as craft liquor stores, morning cafes, roasters, bookshops, Chinese restaurants, record stores, and wine bars have been opening one after another in recent years, is a hotspot in Japan that has not yet been discovered! Why don't you feel the local vibes of nature and culture mixed together? Heptapod, on the ground floor of the building, is a wine and side dish shop. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
