It is located in a naturally designed environment with typical local plants and traditional field stone walls. This place invites you to breathe freely and scream in the wind. Michaelsdorf is located on a peninsula between the Saaler and Bodstedter Bodden. If you look over the Bülten you can see the Borner Mühle and the Ahrenshooper harbor on good days. In 25 minutes you are at the Baltic Sea beach by car.

The village has access to many bike routes and hiking trails along the south side of the Bodden and the baltic sea coast. Stralsund, Rostock and other destinations are close by.
