The home is very well equipped and supplied with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved exploring the island..a birdwatching paradise. Our stay was amazing. Simply put the lake house us relaxing, with everything was easy. The home is clean with everything we needed for the best mini vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the comfort as did we for having a space we can travel that is inclusive to dig parents. The lake house is a home, away from home that provides a space to visit with family who live in this area. The scene out the windows I pure magic. What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. I recently stayed at Peng's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a serene ambiance that made our stay incredibly relaxing. What truly stood out was Peng's hospitality. We had a last-minute change in our guest list, and Peng was more than accommodating, making the adjustments seamlessly. Moreover, when we encountered a minor issue with a beeping appliance, Peng personally came over to fix it right away, ensuring our comfort was never compromised. I highly recommend staying at Peng's place for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-hosted experience.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

Absolutely stunning property! The cottage was cozy, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing weekend stay. The biggest (and most pleasant) surprise was how well stocked the kitchen was, it had everything we needed and more. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into making the space feel like home. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time at Serene oak cottage! The place was cosy and comfortable, with easy access to the lakefront. It was the perfect size for 2 couples. We enjoyed our slow mornings and did some meal prep - the kitchen which was fully equipped. Linda was kind enough to leave us her homemade jam which we enjoyed as well! We explored the town of Perth during our stay. We packed some groceries on our way there as the closest store or restaurants were about 30-45 min away. Sadly Bon Echo park was still closed but we sure hope to check it out next time! Thanks Linda for being such an amazing host 😊

Rosemarie’s place was a delight - beautiful view of the water and the cabin itself was the perfect size. Plenty of boats to choose from and many places to lounge outside. Close to Kingston, but far enough from the city for peace and quiet.

Had a great time for a few short days away from the regular everyday hustle. Ryan's place was clean, cozy, spacious, comfortable, quiet, private, and just overall relaxing and enjoyable! Lots of games and books, good internet for streaming on the TV (when the weather is cold and snowy. otherwise we would have been outside!) or playing music on the speaker. The hot tub was the perfect relaxing activity, and great views whether inside or outside! Also, well stocked with dishes and linens which just made us really feel at home.

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). Thank you, Alison and James, for making our stay unforgettable!

We were looking for a quiet fall cabin getaway and this provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was located on a fairly private section in the trees. There was a walking trail near by and access to the water and a dock. By traveling in the off season the park was pretty quiet. 😊 The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the cozy inside comforts of home as well as the great deck and wonderful forest and river view. Mike, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our cabin making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was a bit of a grumpy resident camper who came over to complain as soon as we arrived because our dogs were playing and burning off some steam after being in the car for a couple hours. The dogs were both on long lines, but he claimed the dogs were loud & he was going to complain to the park manager about us. If he did we didn’t hear about it.

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!
