We spent our family vacation in the apartment. The apartment is beautifully and cozy. It invites you to a suitable getaway. Everything was provided for our son. (Cot and high chair) Check in was straightforward. The area invites you to take long walks and relax on the Weser. For children, it is a paradise to be able to watch the ships directly from the living room. All around we can say that we had a wonderful week in the apartment. We will be happy to come back !:)

it was absolutely positive cultural experience to visit a german upper class (or, well, upper end of middle class) house. Built to last hundreds of years, everything is rock-solid, well designed. no compromise for wellbeing and quality. The whole upper floor of the Bernd's private house has a lot of space . One only bedroom is as big as two rooms flat in soviet blockhouse. Then the living room is even bigger. Absolute peace and quiet . The only thing to consider: stearway to the apartment in the first floor is pretty steep. Bernd's and his wife's house is very warm, despite a chilly cold wind sometimes. I adored very warm, some 30 C, bathroom's floor. Will visit again by occasion!!!

Our stay was very nice! The house is in a great location (5 min to the beach) and is furnished with attention to detail. Gunda was also super nice and helped us with all questions. All in all, we can recommend this place and would be happy to come back a second time!

I had a nice stay at this apartment— one of the best airbnb experiences I've had! I was here for a month-long work trip, and the location was ideal. It’s just a 15-minute bike ride to the university and only 5 minutes to the city center. The surroundings are peaceful yet close to everything. The apartment is well equipped, especially for a longer stay like mine. Cleaning supplies are easy to find, which made upkeep effortless. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, though I couldn't find a microwave function in the embedded oven. Other than that, everything was perfect! A special mention to Nina, the host, who was very kind. She promptly answered my questions and even picked me up from the station when there were no taxis available in the night! And got me a table for working at my request. Thank you, Nina! I was lucky with the weather during my stay, and the balcony was often bathed in sunshine, which made the mornings even more beautiful. I highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend. Ranks up there in my favorite Airbnbs I have stayed at. Had all the amenities one could want, nicely decorated, location was great, dual bathrooms , kitchen had everything one could want (coffee and variety of tea, even a soda-stream). This was perfect for 4 adults and having 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. If you are looking for a place to stay in Oldenburg, stop looking and book this place. Certainly planning on returning.

We felt super comfortable with Sabine and her family. The apartment was lovingly furnished, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Sabine and her family are super nice and helpful, if you have problems they help immediately. They also provided us with bicycles, which we used for the tours in the city. The location right by Julianenpark is very nice, green and quiet. It is best to cycle into the city through the many cycle paths. All in all we had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend it!

Very great apartment that was renovated with a lot of love and has fantastic amenities. You feel right at home. The complex is located a 500-year-old farm with a good restaurant and several apartments in the countryside. Stefan is helpful, communicative, and a great host. We will definitely come back.

Everything was good, a cozy little apartment with everything you need. The communication was good with Sandra, unfortunately I did not meet Sandra in person, but her husband Christoph, a very friendly and helpful man. And if you have problems with your car, Christoph can also help you, because he runs an auto repair shop next door. I loved it and at the next family reunion, I'll try to stay with Christoph and Sandra again. Kind regards, Udo

Thomas and his wife are very welcoming. My son Oskar had an incredible pleasure feeding the animals and we also got a homemade cake, which has never happened to us in a place to stay! We will come back anytime and especially thank Thomas for his friendly, patient and nice way, even with children! Everything is great!

Amazing place, went with my family of 8. It is a pretty big space, actually much better than the photos. Kitchen was awesome and had lots of amenities. Thanks Tim for such wonderful stay and for being preoccupied about the house and helpful for all questions and advices.

My girlfriend and I spent our second stay together here; the home was just a perfect as the first time around. The setting is beautiful and was just as pleasant during winter as it was in the summer. Rosie & Thomas were simply perfect hosts, which we had come to expect from our first experience with the couple. What a great place to stay!! Thanks for this great experience. All as described and even some more was there here. Bed linen and towels were provided. A super-equipped kitchen. A lot of love was put into the smallest corner here. The hosts are also super friendly. We will definitely come back!

We had some very nice days at the Twisterhof. We particularly liked the tranquility in the countryside, the proximity to the Netherlands and the private hot tub. The large garden gave our dog a lot of pleasure. Merel was always easily accessible and super friendly.
