Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Friedrichroda

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

A beautiful place to relax & explore. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of love for detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball track and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

Dagmar's beautiful house with wonderful views leaves nothing to be desired. The reception is tremendously warm and everything is thought of in advance. Thank you! We would love to come back and enjoy the tranquility in the Rhön with its exceptionally beautiful flower meadows.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best regards and thank you for the beautiful days in Thuringia.

We spent relaxing days in this super beautiful cottage and the idyllic natural garden. The cottage is lovingly renovated, yet it has been able to retain its old charm in many places. There is a lovely welcome package, which the children and our dog were very happy about. The area is super beautiful and interesting. There is a great nature reserve nearby and it is not far to Eisenach. It's just a few kilometers to the nearest village for shopping. You can also have a great vacation in this house and in the surroundings with a rather nervous animal protection dog. There is plenty of space and tranquility for everyone. The people in the village are also very nice and understanding. You can start hiking directly from the house. There is a good information folder. Our children loved the warm down duvets and extra blankets, as the weather was cool on Pentecost. We highly recommend the Kaufmann family and their cottage! 😃

Kathrin is such a warm, friendly woman :) we all felt so comfortable! The house is perfect, superbly equipped and close to the summer toboggan run. Our dogs also loved the accommodation! Thank you for the beautiful weekend, happy to come again ❤️

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. We were guests at Thorben and Christina's time as guests of Thorben and Christina and it was once again very relaxed and beautiful in Machtlos. The place is cozy and nothing is missing. Our dogs also arrived quickly and we were able to enjoy the vacation very much. We'd love to come back! :-)

The apartment is very nice and well/well equipped. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking, and the utensils are in great shape and are in great shape. The bathroom is also comfortable and the large bathtub invites you to relax on a cool day. The lots of wood in the apartment adds to a cozy ambiance. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly and helpful and easily accessible. The location is beautiful surrounded by nature. You can take wonderful walks through the greenery from the apartment. It's just the thing if you want to relax and unwind. We would visit again immediately and would also like to try the restaurant next time, which unfortunately was closed at the time. Full score! :)

We had a completely successful stay at Nicole and Helga's! The apartment was very clean, lovingly decorated and well equipped – ideal for our three-day hiking holiday in the Thuringian Forest. Nicole and Helga are exceptionally warm and accommodating hosts. Upon arrival, we felt immediately welcome. Even during our stay, they were at our side with valuable tips about the surroundings. After extensive hikes in the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest, we were able to end the day in the evening relaxing on the balcony – simply wonderful! The weekend at Michael's was wonderful! A really charming place to stay and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace! We enjoyed the days very much. We had a wonderful vacation at Dirk and Silke's. The apartment was large, the beds comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Dirk and Silke responded very quickly and were very accommodating. Check-in using the key box was very easy and straightforward. Check-out was also without any problems. The area is ideal for hiking, but there is also a lot to experience in Georgenthal and the Thuringian Forest for families. The apartment is great for excursions. We will definitely come back!

Rocco's place is a great insider tip. In an absolutely beautiful, quiet location, but still so well located that you can walk to the old town/center. Communication with Rocco was great, he always responded very quickly to inquiries. We expected an apartment furnished with attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall, our vacation was a great experience. The place was clean and maintained. The highlight was the terrace and the view, perfect for switching off and relaxing. We had a little difficulty with the dishwasher, because we had no description and no tabs were available. It would also have been nice if the ad had already stated that towels and bedding cost extra. These are just suggestions to make the vacation even better. In summary, we felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.
