19th century building, Ranville

19th century building, between Caen and the sea, close to the landing beaches and the flowery coast (Cabourg, Deauville Honfleur). On the banks of the Orne, the hamlet of Longueval, had many sailors who transported the stone extracted from the quarries of Caen to England and sand merchants, who recovered the sea sand at low tide for construction companies, on small barges towed by horses, circulating on the towpath bordering the shore.
