Vacation rentals with a patio in French Island

The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. There was an apartment downstairs but I don’t believe anyone was staying there….so no noise from downstairs apartment. I would recommend a car for traveling to restaurants and other activities. It wasn’t really walkable to much. We went to a family wedding and stayed for 3 nights so it was great for what we needed. Would’ve been nice to have a second bathroom but we managed and it was just fine. Lots of closet space for clothes and kitchen had everything we needed. The steps up to the second floor were narrow and steep! Overall it was a nice clean place to stay!

Thank you Corinna and Mike for an awesome stay at Red Pines! Because I had to stay in Onalaska for 1 month, I had the opportunity to stay in their lodging twice. Both stays were amazing! Not only were the units so clean and well managed, but the owners are extremely friendly and quick to communicate. During my stay, they even changed to electronic door locks which make it even more convenient for guests to enter and exit the home. Not to mention, Red Pines Restaurant was a great alternative to at home meals! They also have a new cafe right below the lodging so that is open right before work! There is plenty of parking and the lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. Everything about my stay was amazing! Thank you!

stay in alot of airbnbs, the bed in this one is definitely in the top 3 of all i have stayed at. so soft and comfortable...i didn't need to bring in my foam mattresses i carry in the truck with me. Place was immaculate clean. It was perfect for the fishing trip i was on...could park my truck and boat out front and plug in at night to charge the batteries. Want to apologize publicly, i failed to plan to have it all cleaned up before i left and left a couple things in the fridge and the sink full of dishes...that is my fault, and i do apologize for that.

I rented this property for the Groomsmen in my granddaughter's wedding. It was perfect and they were very comfortable...they had not one complaint! Thank you!

I stayed for over two weeks in the basement portion of the home and found it to be wonderful. The host promptly responded to any questions or concerns I had and was very friendly. The view from the patio was gorgeous. I even spent some time watching the bunnies eat dandelions just a few feet away from me. I would absolutely stay here again, if I for some reason needed to. Would 100% recommend it to a friend.

Sandy & Ed have a beautiful place!! We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was super clean & organized.! The layout was great—very spacious. Staying with two young kids we appreciated the window shades & how dark the bedrooms got. One bed was very soft. The other bed was pretty firm. The kitchen & bathroom were well stocked with all the essentials. Everything was well labeled including the light switches, which was nice. Lastly, we loved the private patio space right outside the living room! We didn’t utilize the grill or fire pit, but enjoyed sitting out by the patio table both mornings soaking in the sunshine in the beautiful wooded backyard. While we did occasionally hear a little bit of upstairs noise, it was very minimal and not bothersome to us. Overall we were very impressed & would highly recommend to anyone looking for a centrally located place in LaCrosse!!

Tyler's place was wonderful. Clean, bright sunshine and comfortable. Although we were only there for one night the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. The location was right downtown with many places to explore. The deck out back had a view of the river and park across the street. Highly recommend Tyler's place.

Casey’s place was the perfect spot for my husband and I to stay for a wedding weekend with our 11 month old baby. The house was clean, quiet, and had the perfect amount of space for us to hang out and let baby roam around in between events. Casey’s recommendations were super helpful for us as we were not familiar with the area. The bed was comfortable and the sound machine was just what we needed for some white noise to sleep well. Casey also was flexible with our check in time, which was above and beyond what we were expecting. We had such a wonderful stay and will be back again!

We stayed at Lydia’s for a Girl’s Weekend. It was so beautiful and relaxing, and had everything you could ever need. We had lots of long chats in the cozy living room and felt right at home. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was such a cute place to stay. It was so quiet, clean and all the little details were so cool, I feel like we would find something new every time we sat down

We selected Kelly's home for a convenient place to meet family for a fishing outing. The area was perfect for meeting. We enjoyed the side deck. The interior was open and great for visiting. The kitchen was large and roomy with plenty of space for food prep. The home is just off the river with nice scenery. I would definitely look to use the home again. It is a couple minute drive to town but extremely peaceful place to relax and enjoy the area.

We had a great minimoon with a beautiful view. I am a light sleeper but the train was not bothersome at all. Place was well stocked. The entry area could be a little more clean…there were a lot of leaves and cobwebs. While the everything was very clean the throw blankets on upstairs couches/lounge chairs had a funky smell to them and didn’t seemed washed in a while, wasn’t the end of the world for us but was a bit surprising.

Lovely home with a fully equipped kitchen! Michaela was extremely responsive and helpful. Only downside was the close proximity to the busy train tracks and the beds were rock hard.

Teri could not possibly be more accommodating and helpful-excellent host!!!

Keith’s place was great!! It was VERY cute and quaint and there was ample room for everyone. The decor is fresh inside and out. The coffee and tea station alongside the high top bistro table was an excellent feature. The backyard is right off the kitchen and was inviting and relaxing. It made for a nice place to sit and relax after a long day as well as enjoying our morning beverages. While we didn’t have our dog with us they had treats available if we had. <3 Would/will stay here again and 10/10 recommend!!

The normal check in is 4:00 pm and I asked if we could get an earlier check in and Westley was very accommodating and let us in at 2:00 pm! Cute two bedroom accommodated us perfectly! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in late March. Great views of Lake Pepin and the sunrise over the bluffs. Saw a number of bald eagles soaring past on the waterline. The unit is in great shape -- very new, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well-appointed. The building seemed mostly empty and Lake City was very quiet -- much busier during the summer I imagine! Note that there is a busy road between the unit and the lake/river. Easy to cross and the noise was not too bad, just something to be aware of, especially if you're expecting peace and quiet while sitting out on the balcony. Hiking in nearby Frontenac State Park was fantastic! The National Eagle Center to the south is worth a visit too. Also, try the Nelson Creamery on the Wisconsin side! Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here.

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here! The location is absolutely stunning! The views of the water were perfect! The home is spacious, updated, and comfortable! So much light! The floor to ceiling windows make you never want to leave. Good local, very family oriented restaurants and shops in the area, most of which were walking distance or a very short drive. I felt safe, comfortable, and at peace here. I travel often and use hotels, airbnb, and other lodging options and this is sitting near the top of my list of locations to stay! 100% recommend booking at the flats!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The deck was phenomenal as the weather allowed us to use it morning, noon and night. The kitchen space allowed us to have more than 'one cook in the kitchen' without getting in one another's ways. The amenities and extra touches were so thoughtful - Impact Coffee at the coffee bar and a bowl of sweets as we entered - to name a couple. We love walking around Decorah. Since we were in town for Luther College graduation, we had easy access to both downtown and the college. We also had runners staying and the access to the Trout Run Trail was ideal for them. Sean introduced himself to us as we were packing up and we were able to personally thank him for his hospitality. We would definitely stay again.

We were in town for my son graduation at Luther. Rather than pay the over price hotels in the area, we choose Tami place & it was well worth what we spent. Host family was incredibly welcoming. Made our family feel like we were home. We would for sure choose this home again! We thank them for making this a memorable time.

We had a great stay! The condo matched the description perfectly. Something to note - the bunk beds don’t feel the most solid but our kids did fine on them for one night. The couch isn’t the most comfy since it’s a sleeper sofa. Also, while we had everything we needed for one night in the kitchen, it is very bare bones in terms of what was available for kitchen items. We would stay again if it’s a shorter visit!

Our stay at the Great River Flats on Pedin Lake was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, with stunning views of the lake that we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the natural beauty all around us. We also loved how close (walking distance) we were to amazing restaurants and wineries — every meal was incredible, and the local wine selections were top-notch. Whether we were sipping a glass of wine by the water or exploring the nearby food scene, every moment felt special. We will return and stay here! Lake City is a hidden gem!

Absolutely would not hesitate to return! Loved the sunrises on the patio, comfortable bed and pillows, and very spacious. Worth knowing for your stay: I’d say the kitchen has your essentials for cooking, but no extras like foil, ziplock, coffee, seasonings, etc so be prepared if you plan your cook. The lighting is pretty much all or none. With no lamps in the living room area, I pulled out one from the bedroom during our stay so we didn’t have to have the bright lights on. The garage and parking lot is narrow. If you have a large SUV or truck, it will be could be difficult to get in and out of. For reference, we have a VW Atlas and it was tight getting in/out of garage. More positives: Nice touch having a cozy blanket available to use. The rooftop area is wonderful and you can’t beat the view.
