Waterfront vacation rentals in Free municipal consortium of Syracuse

The pictures can’t do the huge, beautiful terrasse justice enough - it’s simply the most amazing view of Noto and Domenico was so kind and picked me up from the bus stop and drove me right to the apartment. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Comfortable apartment in a quiet street near the seaside in Ortigia. We loved the spacious terrace where we could enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening (when it was not raining). Kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. We slept very well in a comfortable bed in the sleeping room in the upper floor with the sound of the sea in the background. Whenever we had a question Emilia answered quickly, thanks also for good recommendations of restaurants etc. We really enjoyed our stay at Emilia's place.

Salvatore is a reliable host. He was flexible when we needed an extra night due to changes in flight schedules and he offered us the possibility to store our baggage in the apartment for a few hours after check-out. We spent a lovely 10 days in Syracuse and enjoyed the views form the balcony.

Appartamento situato proprio al centro di Ortigia comodo a tutti i servizi(supermercati negozi ecc..) adatto per ragazzi che cercano il movimento(Ortigia è ricca di locali) sia per famiglie per fare anche alla sera una bella passeggiata in centro (che ne vale la pena.) L'appartamento è spazioso l'abbiamo trovato pulito e ben dotato per quanto riguarda asciugamani,lenzuola ecc non manca nulla. Non ho avuto modo di conoscere Carmelo ma si viene accolto direttamente dall'host dove ho trovato Lucia, sono due persone disponibili per qualsiasi problema, gentili cordiali sempre a disposizione pronti ad offrirti il miglior servizio. E se avete bisogno di consigli su cosa visitare, dove andare al mare o qualsiasi cosa Lucia saprà bene come potervi aiutare. Detto ciò non mi dilungo troppo ma se dovessi tornare in Sicilia sceglierei loro quindi ve li consiglio al 100 %. Dimenticavo l'appartamento ha una bellissima terrazza fresca dove si gode di un bellissimo panorama.

We stayed here for five days and had a superb time. The apartment is in a great location, very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. It had very good air conditioning and good self catering facilities as well. We would definitely return!

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit auf Sizilien gefeiert und Robins Apartment war die perfekte Wahl für unsere Unterkunft. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung entsprach exakt den Bildern und war makellos sauber. Robin hat uns herzlich empfangen, stand uns mit tollen Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants zur Seite und hat sich immer wieder nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit auf Sizilien und unvergessliche Flitterwochen. Mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge sind wir nach Hause zurückgekehrt – aber eines steht fest: Wir kommen wieder! Vielen lieben Dank, Robin, für alles!

Wir hatten als Familie mit 2 Kindern einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Terrasse zum Meer ist wirklich ein Traum. Toller Sonnenaufgang jeden Morgen. Trotz der ruhigen Lage sehr zentral zum Ortskern mit allen Restaurants und die tollen Strände in nahegelegenen Naturschutzgebiet sind auch nicht weit mit dem Auto (10-15min). Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, sie hat unseren Sizilienaufenthalt bereichert!

La nostra esperienza da Alessandra è stata davvero impeccabile. La casa era pulita e identica alle foto fornite dalla nostra host. Non c’è l’aria condizionata ma la casa è comunque fresca ed arieggiata grazie alle pale situate nelle camere e il mare e in soggiorno che sono davvero funzionali. La vista dalla terrazza è impagabile, ci sono gli sdraio e il tavolo esterno per godersi a pieno la strepitosa vista sul mare e sull’Etna. La posizione è perfetta, in 45-60 minuti si arriva nei luoghi di maggior interesse; l’auto si può parcheggiare nel posto privato davanti alla casa. Alessandra è sempre stata disponibile e cortese fino al punto di farci trovare una piccola spesa. Se dovessi trovare un aspetto negativo sarebbe l’accesso al mare sotto casa, poco agibile e solo su piattaforme di sasso dove l’acqua è subito molto alta, con pochi chilometri però sono raggiungibili le spiagge limitrofe… Abbiamo portato a casa un bellissimo ricordo dei giorni passati da Alessandra.

Vincenzo and his wife were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. They welcomed me as a friend and took good care of their Airbnb. The home has a modern amenities and plenty of space to park a car. The area around Gallina has a lot of swimming options and the house is a few minutes to the highway if you want to go north to Catania or Siracusa or south to Modica and Scicli.

Walter was great! He was super communicative and helpful, getting me whatever I needed whenever I asked. He was also super welcoming, hosting me for dinner on my second night. I extended my stay by two nights because I enjoyed my stay so much. If I ever come back to Avola, I would stay here again.

Uns hat ein wunderschön gelegenes Strandhaus in absolut privater Umgebung erwartet. Das Highlight ist sicherlich die grosszügige Sonnenterrasse und der direkte Zugang zum Strand. Das Haus verfügt über eine komplette Ausstattung mit 2 separaten Schlafzimmern sowie eine geräumige Küche. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, wunderschöne Bettbezüge und sehr komfortable Betten. Der Zustand der Wohnung ist perfekt und sehr sauber. Zudem ist Francesca eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, sie begrüßt uns mit frischen Tartlettes und lokalem Gebaeck. Bei einem kleinen technischen Problem hat sie uns umgehend geholfen und Abhilfe geschaffen. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. In der Vorsaison haben wir einen menschenleeren Strand genossen und wollten eigentlich gar nicht mehr weg. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

wir hatten ein paar Schwierigkeiten die Unterkunft zu finden, aber kein Drama. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer kleinen Siedlung und ist entsprechend ruhig. Für Restaurants und Supermarkt benötigt man das Auto. ein kleiner gratis Strand ist zu Fuß erreichbar und war schön und recht sauber und bietet viele Muscheln zu sammeln. kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Aldos Strandhaus. Anfang Oktober hatten wir den Strand, der direkt vor dem Haus beginnt, häufig ganz für uns allein! Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig. Der Einstieg ist flach, der Sand weich und das Wasser kristallklar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants liegen in 10 bis 15 min Autofahrt entfernt. Wir haben mehrere Ausflüge gemacht nach Syrakus, Noto, Marzamemi und mit unseren zwei Jungs natürlich auch zum Ätna! Alles empfehlenswert! Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, der Empfang und die Betreuung durch Salvatore und seine Frau war sehr herzlich, die Kommunikation, auch mit Aldo, einwandfrei! Insgesamt können wir einen Urlaub in Aldos Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!

This is a really lovely ground floor apartment. It is ideally located in lovely Ortigia 2 minutes away from the beach and within walking distance of everything the area has to offer. What the apartment lacks in direct sunlight it makes up for in charm and elegance. We had a lovely time.

Laura è stata un host gentilissima si è fatta trovare presso l’abitazione a seguito della nostra telefonata per l’arrivo. L’appartamento è bello, nuovo, pulitissimo, comodo, fresco, arredato con gusto, con due camere da letto e un parcheggio privato. Il mare a 700 metri è raggiungibile a piedi e le spiagge più belle(Riserva Vendicari loc. San Lorenzo meglio traversa III) a 15 minuti d’auto, ottimo punto per visitare NOTO, AVOLA, MODICA…Il nostro Diesel(🐕) è stato accolto con piacere. È stata una esperienza davvero davvero positiva, grazie Laura.

Schönes, grosszügiges Haus mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Das Haus verfügt über einen schlnen Garten, eine Möglichkeit das Auto hinter dem Zaun abzustellen, einen Grill, eine Aussendusche, eine Waschmaschine etc. Die Unterkunft ist sehr nahe am Strand gelegen. Insgesamt eine super Unterkunft! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft, Caterina! Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Wij hebben met z’n tweeën de maand januari in dit authentieke pand gewoond en het was helemaal naar onze zin. Prachtige plek aan een pleintje, rustig gelegen, met een mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon. De badkamer is klein en basic, maar de woonkamer en slaapkamer zijn groot, en het bed is perfect. Het appartement is in de winter goed te verwarmen. De communicatie met Giuseppe en Aurora verliep uitstekend, ze waren heel behulpzaam en reageerden snel. Zeker een appartement om terug te komen!

Marcella is a warm and responsive host. She allowed us to check in very early and her place was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.

Giovanna and her colleague Nella were super responsive & helpful. Great directions & local recommendations. Elevator up to apartment, good lighting. Two nice bedrooms and two bathrooms plus clothes washing machine & drying rack. Lovely balconies looking over the harbor. Wine and bottled water waiting for us on arrival. Easy walk into Ortigia with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Caffe Apollo or Caffe Viola for breakfast close by. We also did a half day drive down to Noto on a rainy day - well worth the visit! Cosy apartment directly at the waterfront, with lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Alberto is a very friendly and responsive host.

Giuseppe è un ospite meraviglioso - molto disponibile, gentile e premuroso. Ci siamo sentiti a casa con lui. La struttura è meravigliosa! Molto vicino al mare, con una baia meravigliosa e quasi senza turisti. Se volete rilassare dal trambusto, la casa di Giuseppe è perfetta! Troverete tutto il necessario per la vostra vacanza: una cucina completamente attrezzata, camere da letto con un letto confortevole e un giardino privato con lettini, tavolo e sedie, area barbecue e doccia esterna. È un ottimo punto di partenza per esplorare Catania, Taormina o Siracusa. Nella zona ci sono molti negozi di alimentari, una farmacia e un ospedale, ma per godere di tutti i servizi avrete bisogno di un'auto, che potrete noleggiare all'aeroporto o ad Augusta. Giuseppe, grazie ancora una volta per averci aiutato a trascorrere un periodo meraviglioso e per il tuo aiuto in ogni fase ! È stata una vacanza meravigliosa! Justyna&Arek :)

Miriam and her mom waited for us on the street as we arrived, then welcomed us into the apartment they called "home." And indeed, it felt like a true home—beautifully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped for guests, down to a sewing kit with various threads. On the dining table, there was a bottle of wine, and a pack of handmade Italian cookies. The fridge was stocked with juice, beer, milk, and water, and they had provided a variety of teas, both regular and decaf espressos. The location was perfect, in an ancient building near attractions. The stunning blue sea was just steps away, where we could sit at a relaxed restaurant table and watch the mesmerizing sunset. Miriam took my husband to park our rental car and brought him back. When we checked out, her father did the same. She sent us plenty of information about everything, her meticulous care surprised us again and again. In fact, her entire family shares the same warmth and care—they are all incredibly kind and attentive.

Great location in Ortega. Patio is large with seats and table. Limited common space for hanging out inside. Host was very responsive and gave lots of recommendations for things to do and see. Would recommend.
