Villa Laocoonte with pool jacuzzi and billiards

LaurenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

An exterior view of a two-story building features a combination of modern and traditional stone elements. Sturdy wooden shutters frame the windows, while a staircase with metal railings leads to the upper level. A peaceful atmosphere is suggested by the surrounding simplicity.

Landhaus Sicilia

We spent 6 nights and it was a lovely relaxing spot. When you read the listing details, be aware the host is not exaggerating when they say there are dirt and gravel roads to get to the property so long as you drive slow and aren't in a sports car you will manage the final part of the journey. Do not let that put you off, the location is off the beaten track peaceful. Giuseppa and her extendedfamily could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We were even surprised by our supper on arrival ( we arrived fairly late)Pizza from her sister's restaurant. The grounds are large and well maintained with plenty of space for children to run around and explore and play. The pool and water pistols were a big hit with our grandson. The hot tub was enjoyed by his parents. All in all a private spot for relaxing and enjoying family time. We as a family recommend this place.
An exterior view showcases a tiled roof and a light-colored building with a window featuring wooden shutters. Colorful flowers and green foliage are visible in the foreground, adding a touch of nature to the setting.

Cozy cottage with panoramic views and tub

The Villa Gazebo Panoramico is a very beautiful and unique find in Licata. The family is very nice and will make you feel part of their own. They are also very good with respecting your privacy. There is also 3 of the cutest dogs in the whole world staying on the property. The view from the house is absolutely stunning, making it a great spot for relaxation. I’m very happy I found this spot for my travel to Licata.

Dwelling in an old Villa from the 1700s - Quadruple Room

MadeleineRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This is one of the most wonderful places I have been to. So calm and peaceful and the staff is the friendliest and kindest I have met on Sicily. So responsive and attentive in the best way. It felt like we came to a friend’s house. The staff were so friendly and kind. This was truly a pleasant (but way too short!) stay! The pool was awesome and our kids enjoyed it so much. The food was so good and fun to explore new tastes. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Until next time! ❤️

Dwelling in an old Villa from the 1700s - Triple Room

JuneRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We arrived in Piazza Amerina early in the evening and found this Villa on Airbnb and it stood out from all the other places so we booked it on the spot. It was literally 2 minutes from town and easy to find and from the moment the gates opened we were impressed, so much private parking available, so much space, shaded seating and beautiful gardens. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked us in quickly and we were soon in our large room with all emenities described. The large bed and supersoft mattress was well recieived after a lovely shower with hot water and good water pressure with plenty of clean towels. We chose to dine at the Villa, a lovely fixed 4 course meal utilising fresh ingredients grown in their own gardens. Breakfast was a vast array of home cooked sweet cakes plus bacon and eggs, cereals, fruits, yogurt and beverages to suit all tastes. Wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely return when next in Sicily. Absolutely loved this place.
A well-equipped kitchen features curved cabinetry and a wide countertop. Natural light filters through multiple windows adorned with lace curtains, offering views of potted plants outside. The kitchen includes essential appliances such as a microwave, stove, and coffee maker, providing a functional space for meal preparation.
