If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

Cabin for day trips. You can reach the whole Lofoten by car. This is a hiking area in a class of its own. From the cabin there is a path to Kvalvika - Kirkefjorden and Horseide. The cabin is bordered by Lofoten Narsjonalpark. Other hikes that take 2 - 6 hours, are the popular Ryten -Reinebringen and Tverrfjellet. The sea is 100 meters below the cabin. You can fish from the quay. Fishing equipment is available on board when renting a rowboat. Fiskekajjaker is also available with life jackets. Last cabin on the road, quiet and peaceful.
