Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Franskraal

Storkerden is an absolutely fantastic beach house with so much to offer. Our family had such an awesome restful time here. Every room has a beach view. It was bliss. I can highly recommend it!

Lynda and Kevin’s cottage is very peaceful with a beautiful view. It’s a short walk to the beach and the cottage has everything one could need for a comfortable stay. This was my second stay at the cottage, and it has been very well maintained and is very clean.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. We had the most incredible stay at Zebra Views! The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean and so comfortable for our group of four adults and two little ones. Our 4 and 1 yr old had the time of their lives, running freely between the front and backyard. On our second day, we were surprised by a turtle wandering into the garden, and later, two zebras casually strolled by just outside. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets alone are worth the trip, golden skies like we’ve never seen before. The home had everything we could possibly need, and the thoughtful welcome gift of fresh bread and a bottle of wine was such a warm touch. We truly hope to return soon, it was nothing short of magical!

Truly a gem of a place! Clean, comfortable and cosy with a lovely large enclosed garden for the dogs. We loved listening to the frogs at night and the bountiful of beautiful birds in the day. Close enough to the main road with lots of restaurants and to the wandelpad for lovely long sunrise and sunset walks with the dogs. Allison as a host was friendly and accommodating. We loved Allison’s place and will always try to come back in the future. Thank you Allison.

We had a lovely 2day stay. The beach house has enough of everything. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful decorated open space with a sea view. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Definitely a great place for a short or long getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The house is literally nestled between the dunes with a stunning view of the sea. The finishes throughout the home are beautifully done, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was well-maintained and exactly as described. It was a very pleasant experience—highly recommended.

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. It is a rare kind of place that leaves you softer, quieter, and more connected to yourself. Thank you Eva and Marina, you will see us soon again. ✨❤️

Kyle’s place was super central and close to everything. The apartment is really big and spacious, usually one bedrooms can feel a bit crammed but Kyle’s place is open and breezy but still extremely cozy with everything you need. Kyle also accommodated us with an early check-in which was awesome. Kyle is Super responsive and helpful with perfect instructions. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Kyle!

Staying in Anneke's place over a 3 day stay in Apr 2022 was the highlight of our trip to SA! (we live in London, UK). The place: Spacious beyond what the pictures convey and more beautiful. We booked only the upstairs, which consists of two bedrooms, an open plan kitchen / living / dining / terrace area. The bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and wardrobe areas. Both are overlooking the sand dunes, and one of them has a private sitting area. Master bedroom has a jacuzzi. The bedding was very comfortable. The living space / kitchen is well equipped with everything one needs to cook and relax (including a fabulous every-room sound system and music collection). The terrace opens up to the dunes (and can be closed to protect from the wind, if need be). The place has a beach theme to it - white, with sea shells all around - quite charming. The area: On the sand dunes, a very very short walk to the main beach. We would fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the waves and with the view on the dunes. Simply magnificent. Pringle Bay is small, so everything one needs is within a 10-15 min walk. The host: Anneke is the most wonderful host. She recommended and made reservations for us at a local dining jewel. Also braught us coffee (since we forgot ours). Both check-in and check-out were seamless. Highly responsive. We loved dealing with Anneke.

Wow, what an incredible stay! Theresa's place is absolutely stunning, and she couldn't be a more wonderful and friendlier host. The attention to detail is impressive, and the thoughtful touches, like the birthday "surprise" for my wife, truly made our weekend unforgettable. The amenities are top-notch: a cozy lounge with both air conditioning and a fireplace (with wood provided!), a massive fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bedroom with an amazing walk-in shower. We've had some great Airbnb experiences, but this one truly stands out. Theresa's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to friends and family. Five stars isn't enough – we'd give it ten stars if we could! Thanks, Theresa, for an awesome weekend!

We had a wonderful time at La Mer flatlet. Beautiful views and good accommodation. It was cold and raining, but the inside fireplace was the place to be to watch the waves crashing over the rocks in front of the house. Will visit again. Good value for money.

My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Valentine’s Day. Elfriede made our stay so special and we loved every single second of the time we spent there. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back again. Definitely become a new special place for us. Xx

We stayed at the tree stone villa for the long weekend in Hermanus with a couple of friends and it was such a lovely experience. The self check in was super easy and Leandri the host was so kind to let us only check out at 4pm. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and kitted out with plenty of utensils, cutlery, firewood and even spices for cooking! The apple and lemon trees in the front yard were also such a bonus! The lounge and braai area was spacious and comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities such as the ice machine, blender, air fryer and dishwasher. It was really the perfect getaway to stay in and cook up a feast and we will definitely save this as one of our favourites and visit again!

10/10! By far the best service and experience we have ever had. Best stay ever! This was a great experience. The staff was very polite and well-organised…..exceptional aspects like stunning views, impeccable design, and attentive service, peaceful environment everything stood out for me .

Just speechless. The place is beautiful, well located, and has every facility in the home you may possible need! My partner (who has little reaction to anything) said it was what he imagined paradise to be like. You can tell that so much detail went into the home - it was truly a sanctuary and we hope to stay here again. Thank you x

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time.The house was spotless and exactly as described. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful view.,we had games and the house is so big ,clean and kitchen has everything.The host was super helpful and made check-in easy..The only small issue we had was the inverter kept on tripping but they fixed it for us we enjoyed our stay . Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away for group of friends or family, I will not mind coming back again .

The house at De Kelders is exquisite. The open view is 180 deg of sea view right above the rocks and the beautiful sea. Saw many seals. The house is beautifully appointed with stunning finishes. The house offers all the necessary amenities It’s peaceful and open plan. Both Hermanus and Stanford is close for restaurants and there are many accessible beaches. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday

We had an amazing stay at Shauns’s beautiful and spacious home! The indoor heated pool was a huge hit with our kids—they could have stayed in there all day. The house is thoughtfully designed with plenty of room for everyone to relax, and the entertainment area kept both the adults and kids happy throughout our stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Shaun was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making check-in and the entire stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for families looking for comfort, fun, and relaxation all in one spot!

What a great stay at Nuwe Lingen, the whole family was so pleased and impressed with our stay and if we had more time we would have stayed longer! It was neat, spotless, exactly what we needed, spacious, and safe. We felt right at home and found peace and quiet within the busy weekend. IMPRESSED! IMPRESSED!! IMPRESSED!!! What a stunnign stay.
