Quaint and totally walkable spot. The unit is very put together, functional, and well-finished. Lot and across-the-street parking is excellent. Be ready to tote your stuff up a healthy flight of stairs. The nearby train is part of the experience, and we got used to it while sleeping really quickly. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and responsive. We will gladly return. We found the whole downtown Washington experience to be like a refreshing time portal to the 1990s. I suggest getting some Weds-Sun time into your trip to make sure that you have some days where all of the nearby businesses are open. For food the downstairs wine bar is great, and I think it's also worth the short trip to check out Taco Loco Express Mexican Grill.

I enjoyed the backyard, I did a little hike back into the woods. The house was nice and clean and very comfortable.

This home was soo very beautiful and exactly as described in the pictures.There are so many areas inside and outside to enjoy the nice weather and catch up with friends and family. This home has everything you need to enjoy your stay away from home. The sound at night outside is so peaceful.The house was very well take care of and squeaky clean. Lora was very friendly and very responsive to each of my questions. Thank you Lora for being such a great host. My family and i will definitely return to this home during our visit. What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We were thrilled to interact with the animals so freely and appreciated Cathy taking time to tell us the backstory of each of them. Cathy and Bert provided excellent hospitality and even went above and beyond with providing regular weather updates during a wild storm. We will definitely return.

Our stay at the carriage house surpassed our expectations. The grounds were so beautiful and pristine. The carriage house was so nice. The bed was so comfortable. Our dog, Ellie loved to hang out with the horses. She whined because she did not want to go in. Stephanie was such a gracious host. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Great location downtown Washington. We were mostly out and about all week but the first day we were there we got out and enjoyed the nice weather all around the town. Everyone slept great in their beds every night.

I stopped in Missouri for one night and stayed at the cottage. It was perfect. I wish I stayed longer! The kitchen was great, views were super cute, very clean and I would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and beautiful setting. Spent most mornings and evenings enjoying the elevated outside porch listening to nature and watching the sun set. The home was clean, had everything needed and was beautifully decorated. Would not have even known that the host was in the same location. Would highly recommend this location!
