Lakefront Log Cabin escape-boats-fishing-hot tub

NicholaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

We had an absolute dream stay at this incredible property! Our host was super accommodating and excellent at communicating, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property itself was super comfortable for our large family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, which was a huge bonus. And to our surprise, there were plenty of kids' toys available, keeping our little ones entertained for hours! We especially loved the hot tub which was incredible after a long day of exploring. The sauna was also amazing, providing the perfect way to relax and unwind. The neighborhood was incredibly safe and welcoming, and we enjoyed plenty of walks to the nearby river, taking in the beautiful scenery. We felt so at peace and rejuvenated during our stay. We can't recommend this property highly enough. If you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay look no further. Our host truly went above and beyond, and we'll be back in a heartbeat! 5⭐

Great place to stay, has connector directly to the snowmobile trails, place was as described, plenty of parking, host was very responsive and provided all necessary info up front. Wish there had been more snow but that's not the fault of the resort. Will stay again!

Glass Face Mountain Off-Grid Eco Lodge

Our family of six (12, 10, 8, and 6 y/o) couldn't have asked for a better weekend! The views from the cabin were phenomenal. After a stunning sunset on Thursday night, we enjoyed a camp fire and then stayed up late counting satellites and shooting stars. Our kids had never seen the Milky Way before and the low ambient light provided them with their first look. Friday was gem mining in town, a visit to a local apple orchard, and then apple cobbler back at the cabin. Yum! Kids enjoyed building forts in the woods, playing football out front, and our daily hikes. Cabin was very clean and all appliances worked without issues. Definitely recommend!

Jamie’s cabin was the perfect peaceful mini getaway! Situated almost half way between SugarLoaf and Sunday River- it was the perfect retreat to experience both resorts and recharge at night! We arrived to a handwritten welcome card and presents for the puppies- how sweet is that?! The beds were comfy, the shower was HOT and the washer and dryer made it so easy to vacation without having chores to come home to! Would recommend to anyone!

We had a great stay at Dean's place, close to town, yet direct access to snowmobile trails. Driveway is easy to navigate if you have a large trailer. The house is as described and had everything that was needed for our stay. We spent most of our time snowmobiling but enjoyed the time we were in the cabin, and loved seeing all the deer that would visit!

Cozy Mountain Retreat near Sugarloaf + Flagstaff

AlexRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Many positives to highlight with our stay at Coplin Knoll! Communication was on point and the house was expertly deisgned to strike a perfect balance between comfort, asthetic, and functionality. As an added bonus, Mother Nature delivered 4-6 inches of her best stuff, which we felt really brought out the best in this place. We are no strangers to the Sugarloaf region and while the house sits just 10 minutes from the access road, the unique coordinates allowed us to experience the area from a whole new perspective. Thank you Winter and Jay for curating such a pleasant mountainside retreat!

Private cabin perfect for outdoor enthusiasts!

KelseyRating, 5 stars12 months ago
This cabin was well outfitted with a full kitchen, 2 heaters, clean bathroom, cozy living room and comfortable beds. Plenty of space in a very quiet neighborhood. We had no trouble navigating the dirt roads even after a snow storm, but low-rider cars beware of potholes. Host was clear with instructions and check in/check out was easy. Thanks for making our total solar eclipse viewing experience a great one! We were able to hike up snow mobile trails right from the cabin and view the eclipse without needing to get stuck in traffic at all. Great place to stay for any winter getaway like skiing or snowmobiling. I bet it would be pretty great in summer too.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to stay. Craig’s was diligent, kind, and helpful. I believe that when we are in not so ideal circumstances our true character surfaces and more often then not our ability to do what it right is in question. Craig rose to the occasion. Hopefully our paths will cross in the future!
