We offer a furnished convenient 1-bedroom apartment for 1-2 people south of the Thuringian Forest. Our apartment is very comfortable and also has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room is suitable for relaxing, sleeping and working. It has a cozy couch for up to 2 people. The kitchen has a rustic flair with a small table and two chairs. To the bathroom belongs a new shower, sink and a toilet. In the summer-time you can also use the terrace to enjoy the sun just outside of the apartement. In summer, you can explore countless trails in the Thuringian Forest. Unwind and enjoy in surrounding traditional pubs with traditional Thuringian and Franconian cuisine. In winter, there are many cross-country ski and skating trails. You can practice your winter sports actively or just take a relaxing walk in fresh and crispy winter air. For Cross-country skiers there is a variety of difficulties available, from simple to challenging trails. For skiers and snowboarders nearby slopes also rank from simple to challenging. At ski arena Silbersattel in Steinach, only 15 minutes drive from us, you can get the kick out of winter sports, even if you are just beginner. The area further offers the residence of Coburg (Bavaria), the Upper Main-Therme Bad Staffelstein (Bavaria) and the Meiningen Theater which are all worth a visit. Since we live next door to the apartment and are very familiar with the area, we also give you information about outdoor activities and other attractions in the area. In the small wooden house surrounded by half-timbered houses in the quiet village center, you can relax and enjoy the nature of nearby Franconian Switzerland. The loft-like ecological wooden construction makes the apartment unique. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. There is also underfloor heating in the bathroom and adjoining room. In the secluded garden area, a sauna, cold water shower with bathtub, sun loungers and dining area are at your disposal. The surroundings entice with numerous outdoor activities.

Der 39 Grad warme Whirlpool ist ganzjährig nutzbar und inclusive. Die Nutzung der Fasssauna ist zubuchbar . Die Whirlpool Badewanne im SZ funktioniert leider nicht.

"Benno the Wagon" - a tiny house on the edge of the forest

"Benno the Car" was originally an old shooting stand, which we converted into a tiny house with a lot of passion and love for detail. In it you can now stay in the middle of nature and still feel at home. On about 16 square meters you have everything you really need to live. Benno stands near a detached cottage outside Kleintettau in the Franconian Forest. On a meadow on the edge of the forest, he says good night to the fox and rabbit and is happy about company!

Hello, the apartment is located in a place on the north side of the Thuringian Forest. It is ideal for cyclists, hikers and skiers. We have a year-round ski hall for cross-country skiers and those who want to become one, not far from the apartment in the beautiful Oberhof. The apartment is new and modernly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen is available for guests. It has a garage and a seating area on the terrace for cozy sitting in the evening.

Timber construction trailer

The construction trailer made of larch wood is ideal for a romantic vacation for two. While lying in the loft bed, you can watch the stars through the large panoramic window or comfortably drink a cup of tea in front of the fireplace. In the small bathroom there is a sink and the compost toilet. In the building for the campers on the premises, you also have the possibility to shower and use a "normal" toilet.

Also within minutes walking distance are a supermarket, a small organic shop and a fast food pizza restaurant.
