Ravenswood Guest House Annex

The Annex is a private apartment in an 100+ year old wood frame home just north of Andersonville. The Annex is a typical Chicago style 'in-law' garden apartment - located on the first floor of the house where we live - it is bright and clean and well appointed with comfortable furniture. (see pictures). It has large windows that look out on our garden and yard. Our daughter's family also lives on the property in rear coach house. There is easy access to Lake Shore Drive, Evanston and downtown.

William is an amazing host who is very accommodating and helpful with all questions relating to parking and transit to downtown Chicago. He was very responsive to all my communications and was clear on expectations. Fantastic person and place!

This was our second stay at Amy's. It is a great location for us, close to our daughter's studio apartment and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Amy and Brandon are very solicitous and helpful if we have questions. The bathroom is spotless and spacious and the tub is great for a good soak. Amy keeps a selection of bath salts for guests to use. And the bed is super comfy. My husband and I have enjoyed both stays and will book again.

I had a wonderful stay at Josh’s place! The room is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures, and the natural sunlight in the kitchen every morning was such a peaceful bonus. It’s perfect for getting good rest. Josh is an amazing host, welcoming, kind, and he went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I would definitely stay here again. It’s definitely worth what you pay for. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host met us to give us the keys and show us around. The neighborhood is safe and inviting, with many residents out walking their dogs and children playing on the sidewalks. The location is easy walking distance to a Brown Line train station, nice restaurants, and to Wrigley Field. It’s quiet at night and the hosts provide everything needed for a nice breakfast every morning. The house even has an elevator! We could not have been happier with our accommodations for our extended weekend stay.

Great location, great accomodations, and most importantly amazing hosts! Tripp and Todd were so welcoming, I felt right at home. They provided helpful suggestions for meals, activities, transport, etc. Hosts were in communication from the moment I landed to coordinate checkin, and allowed me to drop off my bags early when I arrived prior to the check in time. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to Clark Street which is well populated and has many restaurants and independent shops. Do yourself a favor and book with Tripp and Todd if you ever find yourself in Andersonville/Edgewater!

Our stay with Paula was great! Very cozy and so close to the Aragon Ballroom. We walked to a lot of nearby places for food and drinks. Paula was very sweet and responsive for anything we needed!
