Built in 1875 this cottage has several internal steps which may not be suitable for everyone. Renovated in 2015 a few walls have been moved, & a few luxuries added, to compliment the cottage there is magnificent views, & with views there must be hills. The house and location are just beautiful! The friendly ants come to say hi every now and then, even saw an echidna the first morning I woke up roaming in the front yard! Just absolutely beautiful place, right across from the beach, great fireplace, lovely place to spend to catch up with friends!

We stayed in this accommodation for one night as our first getaway with our 10 week old baby. The views in every direction were breathtaking! Close to town so we could stock up on groceries and run back out if we needed something. Hot tub was lovely and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Out of the 5 places I stayed in across Tasmania, the Station House was my favourite. With Shona as my host I felt safe, comfortable and right at home. This experience really highlights the difference between a motel and Airbnb with the attention to detail, decor and furnishings. I stayed here to access Cradle Mountain over 3 nights. When Shona discovered I had twisted my ankle while out hiking, she immediately put together a care package of ice and bandages for me, her kindness and care was greatly appreciated. I would go out of my way to stay here again!

We stayed at Janmaree's house for Easter on a family trip. Everything was clean and easy to find and Janmaree was always very responsive and helpful. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we all loved sitting outside by the fire, playing a few games. Janmaree had even gone above and beyond and hid Easter eggs around the house for us - what a lovely gesture! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!
