Vacation rentals in Fort Nottingham

We had an amazing stay! Sarah and Charlie were wonderful hosts and made everything seamless with an easy check-in and check-out with no need to coordinate meeting times. It was great to come and go as we pleased, and the safe parking right by the door was a huge plus. The space had everything we needed: a fridge, gas stove, braai, induction plate, Wi-Fi, DStv, and even thoughtful touches like electric blankets and a heater, which were perfect for the Midlands chill. The gardens are beautiful and definitely worth a stroll, and the private outdoor area was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The location is ideal — close to great restaurants, coffee spots, and not far from other attractions. And of course, the highlight for us was the adorable dogs who completely stole our hearts. Can’t recommend enough, we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful, peaceful location. The view was astonishing and the home itself was amazing, clean and stylishly decorated. The drive there followed a beautiful scenic dirt road and instructions to get there were very thoroughly communicated. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The area also offers lots to do and lots to see. We would recommend this place to anyone in future.

Highly recommend this cottage stay. Peter was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Beautiful view of the mountains and the wild life walking around and visits from the horses and Zebra was very special. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The place was fabulous..... comfortable, amazingly well kept and just as described. Our host was amazing, proactively checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. All the amenities were on pint and we truly felt at home. Looking forward to our next stay! Thanks Rae

Picturesque is the best way to describe the cottage and the view. The pictures are beautiful but don’t do it justice. Beautifully furnished, amazing view of the dam. Very private, good security, great housekeeping. Definitely worth a second visit.

We had a wonderful weekend, loved it all from the sweet little dogs to the outside shower. It was an excellent home away from home.

Had an amazing retreat at Shayleen's place. Beautifully decorated with hospitable staff and thoughtful touches. The Nguni cows and dogs at our doorstep made for an even better experience. I will be back.

So thrilled we had a chance to stay here - such a beautiful place, so quiet, with the most wonderful view of the woods, a river, and lake in the distance. Pauline is a fabulous host - her communication was excellent and although the cabin is really off the beaten path, her directions were perfect. She couldn't have been more helpful and we spent a blissful weekend there. No wonder it's hard to book here and it's a super popular place to hire. Long to return.
