Ian is a wonderful host his friendly chatty disposition is very welcoming. His accomodation isn't 6 star as he explains but it's far more than that . It's a walk down memory lane with all his wonderful antiques displayed. It's a share accomodation so that's not for everyone but we loved it. Ian goes over and above to accommodate your needs. We will definitely be returning . Forrest beach is a warm friendly little place well worth a look .

The accomodation was beautifully presented with lots of little welcoming touches. There was plenty of space and thoughtful additions to make our stay memorable. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and more! Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

We spent 8 nights at the Beach Hut and didn't want to leave. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Brett was amazing with communication and had so many helpful tips on restaurants and must see places in the area. The views from the main bedroom and lounge room were stunning! I highly recommend a stay at The Beach Hut

Ian is amazing! My partner and I spent the weekend in Forrest Beach and this place felt so relaxed, tidy and an incredible set up surrounded by greenery! We loved our stay and we’ll be coming back to stay every time we visit.

perfect location across from the beach for those who want to get away from town, comfy beds, ideal for a small family or (as we were) a couple of singles, fantastic shower.

One of the most enjoyable stays I have ever had anywhere High level interior design, outstanding views, excellent local knowledge and recommendations Had stayed in Townsville last year, this stay forced a 180 degree change in my attitude and I look forward to returning to stay again In fact, can't wait!

Great place and Darryl was very responsive, even with a last minute booking. Had everything we needed, very clean and treats in the fridge were a lovely suprise. Would definitely recommend to others or stay again.

The home is beautiful. Location is great and easy access to the beach. Caroline has thought of all the little things that makes a home a home. Plenty of amenities close by and loads of space inside the home. We’re looking forward to another visit soon!

Maureen's property was amazing. From the moment we arrivedi was extremely impressed by the home. Maureen was fantastic to deal with. I had to book this as a last minute Airbnb and Maureen was so accommodating and made it available for me to move in with such short notice! Her communication is second to none and extremely easy to deal with. The house was perfect. Clean, large and private. The location was outstanding with in walking distance to beach, pubs, restaurants etc. Will definitely be looking to book with Maureen again when back in Townsville! Could not fault her or her property. Thanks again Maureen!! 🙂

Beautiful little beach shack right on Saunders Beach. Nothing too fancy but a really nice quaint and comfortable place a few nights stay. Big kitchen with all utensils and basic ingredients needed for cooking, and lots of nice little touches which made the place homey.

was a good place to stay. next time hopefully for a fish and not for work. it was neat and tidy and comfortable.

We loved our stay at Toolakea Beach Retreat! So peaceful and restful! V iews straight out to the water, a beautiful walk along the sand, a tastefully styled little beach shack. Checking in and out was straight forward, Laine left very clear and helpful instructions. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and loved coming back to the house after days out in Townsville. Would happily come back and can highly recommend!

Beautiful stay with amazing view of the beach from the balcony. Wendy is good communication with me when asked questions. The place is so cosy. The area is so quiet and peaceful to walk around. It has good shops nearby only 10 mins walk. Would come back again.
