Vacation rentals in Ford County

Ashley was the perfect host for the perfect location. We weren’t there 5 minutes before we knew that we would be finding a reason to plan a return visit in the near future. We were needing a “home base” for our large family for the weekend, in order to attend a celebration of life and funeral services for my husband’s recently deceased mother. It was a long weekend of obligations, but every member of our family was able to find comfort, refuge, peace & calm …not only within the perfectly accommodated home …but also out on the beautiful, scenic property. It became our “safe space” for a pretty hard weekend. We enjoyed reminiscing with family around the fire pit in the evening and watching deer stroll by as we sipped our coffee on the porch in the morning. Ashley’s hospitality & attention to detail was top notch. There wasn’t anything she didn’t think of & there were even a few generosities (pertaining to the nature of our visit) that we could have never expected. We WILL be back!

The Cozy House was much more than what I had expected in every way!!! Gorgeous home first of all but also, Amy was a super welcoming, flexible and responsive host making it feel like I was truly at a home away from home!! Highly recommended this house if needing a place to stay in Gibson City!!

We were staying at Alan's place for mom's weekend at UIUC. This is nice place in very quiet town.

What a gorgeous property. We stayed here after an Illini game and it was perfect. Nearby town was cute with couple of restaurants to grab late evening meal. We would have loved to enjoy the outdoor fireplace. Next time

We had a great stay! We were in town visiting my daughter at U of I. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, perfect for our family coming from two different states to visit relatives in nearby towns. The house was clean, welcoming, and beds were very comfortable. If the weather would have cooperated during our visit, we would definitely have loved to sit out on the back deck. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Daylily. The home is furnished with everything you need to cook great meals. I couldn't have asked for a better host, Anya is amazing. The home is an older home not something modern and luxurious but it's a home and its a great spot to stay and make memories. If I have more work near Paxton I will definitely try to stay at the Daylily again.
