Alberto's place was located in a quiet side street (no car access but 3 different roads nearby are less than 1 minute walk to house). Check in was easy via touch pad . Downstairs area is spacious/comfortable. Main bedroom was large, beds comfortable and bathrooms were nice (water in showers could be hotter). Flores gets hot so the a/c in the bedrooms was a big plus and worked well. There is no a/c downstairs, but there is a ceiling fan and portable fan. Please note amenities listed are accurate, therefore, I am giving Alberto's place 5 stars - however, additional amenities would make this place a bit better - hair dryer, iron, couple of chairs on the upstairs balcony. Communication was good. Alberto provided a few dining recommendations which were helpful - especially La Casa de Enrico. A convenience store close by: take street that goes downhill, make right on Calle Union, store is on left. Main square is close by with lots of activity in the evening. I would stay again.

You need to board a boat ride to San Miguel, I did not have too much time there because I went to Tikal but supposed to ba a great beach on that side and some good lookout there too. This is definitely the quiet side; but roosters crowing early in the morning though.

Price is right for the location, easy walk to Flores Island(30minutes) or 5 min. by tuk tuk 10Q per person. ($2cdn.) we enjoyed the daily walk and the vibe, be sure to explore flores island & San Miguel a short boat ride across, where you will find a archaeological dig, a walk through the forest on a new boardwalk, museum and a high lookout of Peten Itsa and much more. Edelyn and her family are wonderful hosts and helped us book our adventure to Tikal wow! what a treat! I could go on, but I will end with, I would definitely stay with Edelyn at her place again

Flores Petén, Family Apartment

We rented the apartment for two night. From the start Mirna was extremely responsive which I appreciated. We arrived before check in time she allowed us to leave our bags which was also helpful for my family since we were traveling with kids. The apartment is in a quiet area and it was very spacious. The apartment was clean but linens had a little smell. Nonetheless the host appreciated the feedback. Overall I recommend staying here.

Karen’s place is beautiful and the pictures just don’t it justice. The beds are comfy, good showers, lots of space and the house is beautifully decorated. There had been some flooding due to the location of the island and Karen was super kind and helpful. The house is central to everything within walking distance, is extremely peaceful with a beautiful large veranda overlooking the water. We absolutely loved our stay here and would come back.

We extended our stay in el remate and ended up staying here for two nights. It’s right off the main road and a short walk to the lake. The apartment served our purpose of giving a space to sleep and shower and the host even did have a wifi to share despite the listing saying there is none. The little balcony was nice to people watch, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The only thing I would have liked is an offering of drinkable water. Our other place in el remate had drinking water in the refrigerator waiting for us and we realized too late when all the stores were closed that we had none. Being directly in town is one way to experience el remate (we stayed further down the lake before this) but remember that stores and restaurants close pretty early!

We had a great stay. The location was very easy to find using the map and easy to get into. Perfect location on the island of Flores with easy access to Tikal and Lake Peten-itza. Private and quiet at night. Cold AC with a huge fan to help even more with the heat. Highly recommend!

The perfect place to explore in particular Tikal.Jezioro across the street,restaurants just around the corner. Comfortable beds ,quite well equipped apartment. Very good contact with Andha. The wifi works perfectly, hot water in the shower. It's a little buzzing in the morning - there's a school on the street, but if you're up in the morning, it's not a problem. I recommend the apartment is in very good condition, it has good Internet, Smart TV, the kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom and everything is perfect, not to mention, the beds are comfortable. washing machine at the disposal, and at the same time there is a store with everything necessary for any additional need, the location is very good, very close to Flores, I highly recommend it She took care of us impeccable and was always ready for us and helping us Would definitely come back, worth it

A very well located place due to its proximity to the airport. The cleanliness was impeccable, and it was exactly as shown in the photos. I want to highlight the kindness of the hosts. They helped us get to the island and the airport. They were always very attentive, and even gave us atol on the day of departure. I would totally go back to this place.

It has the best location right in front of Maya Mall and the bridge that leads to the island, easy to find, it has everything you need, comfortable beds, A/C in the rooms, the common area is small but it fulfills its function, even more so if you use it for a well-deserved rest after a day of excursions. It's important to bring more bottled water, in general it was just what we needed, we really liked it.

I would recommend staying here! It was a nice place with a lovely roof terrace that we really enjoyed. The kitchen was better equipped than I expected which made cooking easy. Communication was great and they were really kind and helpful! Only downside was that the wifi basically doesn’t work.

We had a short stay for one night. My partner works remotely, so the Internet was very suitable for this. The Internet was really very good compared to other properties! Everything that was listed was available. The amenities were new and the apartment was very clean. Thomas is an attentive and helpful person and he was available to us at all times. amazing place in the middle of nature! we had a very rejuvinating stay in the yellow cabin, surrounded by animals and birds. the restaurant on the property is also incredible, we were very pleased to eat every single meal there. :) we also enjoyed a very special christmas menu on christmas eve. Alice was very helpful and sweet, wonderful place, 100% recommend! note: if coming by car the road up is a bit steep but we made it in our mini suv.
