We spent two wonderful weeks in Thore's house. The wonderful location, the very good equipment of the house, the magnificent view of the fjord made the days go by far too quickly. The house and surroundings are even nicer than the photos! The house is really equipped with everything you could think of, we didn't miss anything. And with the large panoramic window in the living room, a rain front is also appealing. We have fulfilled days of boating, hiking, fishing. Mushrooms, bathe, etc., spent. Thore's place is really highly recommended.

Gunhild is an absolutely wonderful host. Very welcoming and helpful in every way. This is our second time at the cabin and plan to come back again! The lake is amazing and Gunhilde allowed access to kayaks, paddleboards, and a nice rowboat. The cabin is in a quiet and peaceful place. I highly recommend this gem.

Wow, what an incredible place! We were very sad to leave here. The house is so beautiful and comfortable, immaculate inside and supplied with everything you need. The location is idyllic: the steps from the road take you down through a beautiful garden (with its own herb garden) down to the house on the waterfront. The views and the tranquility are perfect. Absolutely stunning. Lovely helpful hosts too. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are in the right place. The house is really exceptional! The daily view of the sea, the surrounding coves/ rocks is beautiful and does the soul well. The property is also surrounded by a forest, where you can take very nice walks/ hikes. The equipment in the house is as pictured - really totally beautiful and practical, also great that the kitchen was so well equipped! We also liked the boat and kayak and we were really often on the water. The small village shop/Matkroken is well equipped, but not too big. All-round a successful holiday. John Andreas was also available at any time and very friendly. Thanks a lot!

Our stay at Per’s place in Åna-Sira was lovely. The house is very eclectic, mix of old & new, with lots of art, plants, vintage furniture & decor. The house sits over the water with docks surrounding on one side and the location right in the middle of the fjord couldn’t be more picturesque. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking family dinners and space was enough for our group of 10. We had quite a bit of rain but the fireplace kept it cozy and we did some rainy day excursions to the nearby museum and Flekkeford. We were able to fish lots of trout from the dock and found plenty of wild mushrooms on the numerous hiking trails around nearby (porcini & chanterelles). On the sunny days we did some of the longer hikes which are well worth the effort for the views and otherworldly landscape, but be prepared to get wet feet even on dry days.

A great house with a stunning location. We felt very comfortable. The large boat was great, comfortably motorized with 50hp. Raymond marked us good fishing spots on a sea map - top service! I had my kayak morning great use via the floating dock and explore the great surroundings - top 😊 kitchen super equipped, beds good, kitchen very well equipped. Great terrace, plenty of toys for indoors and outdoors for children available. Great hiking area just 5 minutes away. Very little going on in Farsund during our travel season.

Can only recommend the nice place. We have been there one night but it was so incredibly nice place, good beds, everything we needed to cook ourselves a meal and quiet otherwise. Will definitely recommend further.

Very nice apartment right on the sea - everything is great!

Very nice place in an even nicer location. Great hiking areas, quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you need, and if there was anything, the host was easy to reach. It was a very nice stay.

Our stay was really great. The house is very modern and very clean. Since we were mainly fishing, we also rented the boat. This was as described and went smoothly. The WiFi was consistently good, all appliances (except for an additional freezer) worked perfectly. The only downside to the house was the noise, but if you know it beforehand, it's perfectly fine. The hosts were both very kind and accommodating, both in person and in their messages. They also gave many tips for excursions or fishing in the area. In summary, it was a successful stay and we will be happy to come back.
