The perfect cabin in stunning surroundings! One of our favourite airbnbs in Iceland. Lovely views, well equipped and a good size for our family of 5. I even saw my first ever northern lights!

If you are looking for peaceful surroundings with a never ending view this is it! The accommodations were comfy, clean and beautiful. I could have spent weeks! Great location to venture around the south coast. Vik is close for shopping and eating destination. The landscape and adventures are limitless.

La casa es espectacular, muy cómoda, limpia, amplia, con todos los servicios disponibles. La casera es muy amable y en todo momento estuvo en contacto, con recomendaciones locales. La zona es tranquila y perfecta para ver auroras boreales. El único inconveniente es que solo hay un baño para muchas personas. Pero ya se anunciaba así. Sin duda alguna si vuelvo a Islandia volvería. Recomendable 100%!

We absolutely adore this place and have just been back for a second stay. The location is magic. The cabin is super charming, clean, cosy, welcoming and full of character. It is lovely to see that past guests have left behind little things to add to the decor and make it feel very special. The privacy and middle of nowhere feeling you get there are amazing. There are only two points we feel worth mentioning as little downsides to this cabin: The shower is tiny - it is more like something you'd find in a small caravan. The two single beds are very narrow and for some adults maybe not a very comfortable choice. All in all we'd never let those facts keep us from coming back. We LOVE this place.

We travel a lot and have used numerous airbnb's or vrbo's. Agusta's "cabin" is easily in our top 3 ever. It was amazing! Lots of space. Well appointed. Fantastic kitchen and living area. Thought of everything. Loved, loved, loved it. Only slight negative is the long gravel road (+/- 10 mins) to get to the place, but if you want seclusion and darkness for the northern lights, that is an easy price to pay. The town of Vik is 30 to 40 minutes away. That is where you'll find the restaurants and grocery store, so plan ahead. Special bonus was introducing my children to a vinyl record player with a good selection of albums.

Great quiet place to stay. Very clean and up to date. The only issue we had was we came in late and it was dark and it was difficult to see the unit number on the house. We would suggest better lighting to help with the navigation. Other than that we enjoyed our night and would recommend.

We had a magical stay at Sjornohall! The unique setting amongst the moss covered pseudo-craters feels like it’s from a movie and the views of the Northern Lights were breathtaking. The locations makes a great base for visiting Vik, as well as visiting the National Park with ice cave tours. Audur is thoughtful, kind, and very responsive. She even let my kids meet her chickens, horses, and dogs which was a highlight of our stay for them. The house had every amenity we could have needed, as well as many unique extra touches. We hope to return again some day!

Lilja's place was absolutely as nice as it appeared in the listing! Very spacious compared to other rentals. Very clean. The hot tub and sauna were great to have after day trips and hikes. Beds were comfortable. Location was easy to find and convenient to the sights we wanted to see. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!
