The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

In wintertime you have to calculate skis/snowshoes for access, about 500m road that is not cleared. Great for walking and skiing, but not prepared trails. The original part is an Ål cabin from the 1970s, while the extension with bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was recently completed. The plot is sunny with a great view of the Dalsfjord and the sea gap. In summer, there are many great swimming areas nearby, including on the pier just below the cabin.

The cabin has toys and everything a family with kids and babies need. Be aware that the cabin has two floors with a stair between. Two of the bedrooms are situated on the second floor.

Welcome to the old schoolhouse at Vassenden in Sørbøvåg, the place of peace and quiet. The old schoolhouse was used as a school for the surrounding villages, from 1910-1959. In recent times, the house has received a significant upgrade and we spend a lot of time here ourselves. The house is beautifully situated, right next to a lake and in the middle of beautiful mountains.
