Hannelie and her husband Gerhard are incredible hosts. Right from the beginning there was excellent communication and timeous responses. Even though we arrived at 12:30am and she had work the next day, Hannelie met us in person and made us feel most welcome. The accommodation was perfect for our needs of sleeping over during our drive from Joburg to Durban. The place was clean and homely with plenty of towels. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and rusks had been left for us which was most appreciated. On this occasion the hosts were unable to provide a hot breakfast but they more than made up for it by providing us with a delicious take away breakfast which included fresh fruit, yoghurts, cold meat sandwiches and more! However the cherry on the cake was a message later in the day from Hannelie checking to make sure we'd safely reached our destination in Durban. All around I can not recommend Hannlie and Gerhard enough.

Great place to stay while in Welkom. We were there for 3 nights and it was a great option. King sized bed was super comfy. There was a microwave, fridge, kettle, bug kill light and a load shedding light available. Beatrix was awesome and super friendly.

I had a great time in this place. It is well maintained and very clean. I would recommend that people should go there and you'll have peace of mind away from the city life. It's also a great place for fishing, caught a good amount of fish and good sizes. Noleen, the host, is a very good host. She communicates very well and makes sure that you get to the venue with ease.

Stunning place to stay at when visiting Bethlehem. Very close to town and the mall, yet far enough out of town to enjoy the quiet, calm evenings.

Cannot fault this Airbnb/guesthouse at all. Located within easy walking distance from the NWU’s main entrance, reasonably priced, excellent hospitality and friendliness from the host, good WiFi and breakfast, spacious room (almost a full bachelor flat), squeaky-clean with crisp linen, ample safe off-street parking. Thank you, Wilhelm and Louise. If ever I need to be in Potch again for a university-related event, I know where I’ll be staying. All the best.

From the moment I arrived, I knew this Airbnb was something special. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, every detail was taken care of to make our stay feel effortless and cosy. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as pictured (if not better). It had all the comforts of home and the lapa area (my fave) that made it feel like a mini getaway paradise.
