Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Fez-Meknès

We were very well received by Mrs. Souad and Mohamed who came to pick us up in person at the entrance to the Medina. The Riad is very convenient because it is two minutes from Bab Boujloud and close to a guarded parking lot. The only flaw is the smell of sewage that comes from the bathrooms and therefore you always have to close the bathroom door. Evidently, it's a problem due to the fact that the Medina has ancient sewers. Otherwise, everything was very much appreciated by the group. Thanks and talk to you soon.

If you’re not Moroccan, or have not spent much time in the country, be ready for a unique experience. It’s as riad as it gets with all its quirkiness - but all to yourself. It was an authentic experience for the two of us in our party. If getting lost in the alleys of fez intimidates you, this may not be the place for you. Jawad, the caretaker, is exceptionally attentive and helpful. Always ready not just with recommendations but also to walk you out if you need directions. Kitchen has all the appliances, wifi is surprisingly strong, hot water is aplenty. Bathroom situation is unique. The one full western-style bathroom is four flights up so beware of that. (There is a squatty potty on the ground level.) The rooftop terrace has nice open views.

Very well located accommodation, in the heart of the medina with everything on hand. Welcome in person because it would have been difficult to find this accommodation nestled in the medina on its own. Once you are settled in, it is easy to find. perfect for 7 people.

the house is beautiful and original, it seems to be in one of Escher's works with the various levels that can be reached through unusual stairs. No object is chosen by chance ,all of valuable craftsmanship. Super comfortable beds and mosaic flooring. Also beautiful is the terrace area ( of course on two levels) with a poignant view of Fez . As close to the Medina, the exposure tends to be very peaceful. The breakfast offered by Muhammed in a nearby house equally pleasant and complete.

My stay at Fatima Zahra’s Airbnb in Fes was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, she welcomed me with such warmth and genuine hospitality that I immediately felt at home. Dar 47 was truly a special place. Our only regret was that we had to leave so soon. Each of the rooms had comfortable beds and spaces. Khadija was amazing and had a breakfast ready to help us start our busy days. We had her cook us dinner the night we arrived and it was delicious. We should have requested more meals in the riad. Emma was super responsive and helpful in arranging a ride from the bus station and tours around the Medina. Everything was fabulous and can’t wait to come back to Dar 47!

We loved this place! Great host and housekeeper and a lovely breakfast included. One large and lovely bedroom with attached bathroom, and another lovely but slightly smaller bedroom with attached bathroom. Charming sitting areas throughout. And there was no external noise or bother. We could walk out into the Medina for every possible need.

We really enjoyed our time at Simo’s place. The home is very comfortable. We were greeted like friends and felt right at home. He was happy to assist with laundry and local recommendations. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and creative design. Simo has fully decorated the home with pride and craftsmanship - local fossils and stones integrated into the home, collector items, antiques, crate furniture and shelves, unique light fixtures. Truly inspiring. So glad we stopped in Midelt during the long journey from the Sahara to Fes.

We were satisfied with this apartment. The value for money was excellent. The location was ideal, close to the airport, which helped us with our early flight at 6am. Communication with the host was clear and check-in went smoothly. We would certainly recommend this apartment.
