The view is exceptional from the gîte and its terrace. A calm and cozy atmosphere awaits you with immediate access to the forest. Very nice location, breathtaking view of the plain of Alsace and the Alps, facing south, comfortable cottage. In the 80m2 offered by this gîte, on one level, on the ground floor of our chalet, you benefit from a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare your meals. Two beautiful lounge areas with a sofa bed and 2 other sofas to relax in front of the fireplace during your winter evenings. A large bedroom with a King Size bed and 2 bunk beds. The toilets are separated from a bathroom equipped with a double washbasin, a bath and a shower. In front of the cottage, you will enjoy the large terrace guaranteeing you an exceptional view of the Black Forest and the Alps. This is a beautiful place we had the chance to discover! When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Virginia! The chalet exposure is perfect for enjoying the sun and mountain views from the terrace and the interior of the cottage through wide floor-to-ceiling windows. The interior of the cottage is bright and very clean, the household equipment is complete and in perfect condition. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is of good quality. The shower room is convenient and very clean as well. We had a large parking lot in front of the house. All this to say, that nothing was missing from our comfort and well-being, we had a wonderful stay in the Vosges. To be back without hesitation, A big thank you to Virginia and Michael, Dominique and her little family

The house is as described and therefore leaves nothing to be desired. I had a wonderful week with my family. Communication worked well and the hints were helpful. Only good to know would be that there are two fuse boxes in case there is an overload as with us. A quick description would be helpful here, if the airbnb server is overloaded and the message exchange doesn't work, we did. But that's also the only thing that could be improved from our point of view. In summary, I highly recommend this house for families and the area also offers many opportunities to do something. Thanks to Marie for the great support, we will be happy to come back.

Despite the capricious weather, we had a lovely stay at the cottage "up there" … This pretty tastefully decorated cottage is very spacious and comfortable! It feels like home! In addition, it is located a few minutes from the lake but far enough away to enjoy the calm of the green setting in which it is nestled. They give access to many marked trails whether for walking or mountain biking! A 10/10 for our stay and the kindness of our host! We'll definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay over Christmas at this charming house of Yann! The house is extremely cozy, with a crackling fireplace that provided a wonderful atmosphere. Highlights were the sauna, hot tub and river right outside where we could even go ice bathing – but even without ice bathing, the house is absolutely recommended. ;) The location is ideal: right by the forest, perfect for relaxing walks, yet only 5 minutes drive from Gérardmer where we enjoyed the Christmas market and shopping. A perfect place to spend the holidays with the whole family!

We had a great stay with our two children. The shawl is in a great location for a quiet and green stay. It made a radiant sunshine and we were able to enjoy the garden (and the swing for the kids!). Beautiful walk to the ruins of Etobon Castle from the chalet. Shops are a ten-minute drive away. Belfort is 25 minutes away, so super convenient to make the most of it. We felt at home in this shawl that lacked nothing at all (we had never had so much at our disposal, it made our stay very easy for logistics). The hosts are very responsive and have good tips. We recommend it without hesitation!

Isabelle and Jean-Pierre are such wonderful hosts with a charming chalet overlooking the Vosges Mountains. Relax on the large terrace with a view to the valley and mountains, drive to the city and lake of Gérademer which is minutes away or take day trips to the many surrounding picturesque villages hidden amongst the countryside. We would love to come back again. Thank you so much!

The apartment is very spacious. The bedrooms in the above mentioned have no tub or only one sliding door and are therefore clairaudient. The apartment was very clean and practically furnished. There are a lot of toys for small children. Goldbach-Altenbach is a very quiet place in the Vosges mountains. Opposite the property is a small, new and beautiful children's playground.
