Waterfront vacation rentals in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

My family and I stayed at this well appointed apartment for two weeks. Lejla was easy to communicate with and fulfilled my request for special pillows and bedding. The apartment itself has a rich history, and is filled with many books of different topics and languages. There are house plants and comfortable furniture. I enjoyed the kitchen so much that we didn't even eat out once during our stay. The surroundings are quiet and the beds are comfy. There is a bit of a hill to climb to get to the apartment, but you are rewarded with a beautiful view from the back of the apartment looking out at old town Sarajevo. we would love to come again and stay in this nice apartment. I highly recommend staying here. It was one of our favorites, and we have been traveling for six years.

Kenan is an amazing host! He’s such a kind man, has an excellent communication. The home was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever seen. There is not even one dust in house, the home was clean in every detail, it was amazing. The location is great, you are right in the center 2 minute walk to Ferhadija and bascarsija. The balcony view is amazing! You can spend great time night in balcony too. Kenan took us from airport when we come and also dropped us back, he was so good and gentle! I recommend this house to everyone. If you ever come to Sarajevo, Kenan’s house is the best choice! Hvala puno Kenan 🙏🏻

Imali smo prelijepo iskustvo tokom boravka kod Jasne, airbnb je topao, prijatan i vrlo čist, ima prekrasno dvorište sa prekrasnim pogledom na rijeku bunu. Udaljen je 15 minuta laganom šetnjom od izvora rijeke bune,tople preporuke.

The apartment is an amazing find for a great price. It's in a peaceful neighborhood, but not far away from the city centre so walks are amazing around this area because of the parks and nice atmosphere. The apartment is just like in the pictures, spotless and has a great homely feeling! Nina was always responsive when we texted and Ömer greeted us when we arrived, and he even helped us with our luggage! All in all, this is an amazing apartment, with a great location surrounded by many cafés, restaurants and markets, and you get amazing hosts like Nina and Ömer. :) Would always come back!

Elma was wonderful during our stay. Met us when we arrived, gave us local tips and showed us around the apartment. Picked cherries with our daughters. The amenities with the pool and garden terrace were beautiful. Very secure and secluded. BBQ area leading to the river. Accessible to feed the ducks, wander 30 secs to a very reasonably priced local restaurant with a play area. Bosnia went above our expectations and will throughly recommend ☺️

Wij maken met onze hond een rondreis door de Balkan en hadden een fijne tijd in het huis van Edita met prachtig zicht op de Una. Het is ruim en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. We moesten even wennen aan het ontbreken van een huiskamer zoals we in Nederland gewend zijn. De tv’s staan in de keuken en slaapkamer. Vooral omdat we de eerste dagen veel regen hadden en het ‘s avonds koud was, waren we veel binnen. We hebben dat opgelost door de laptop als tv te gebruiken. We hebben Edita niet gezien omdat zij in Salzburg verbleef. Zij was op afstand goed bereikbaar en reageerde snel op berichten. De honneurs werden waargenomen door haar zus en zwager. Zij hebben dit fantastisch gedaan. Wij voelden ons zeer welkom! Het enige waar wij last van hadden, waren de straathonden en hun agressieve gedrag. Dit heeft het wandelen in park en stad voor ons vaker onprettig gemaakt. De omheinde tuin aan de Una was voor onze hond echter fantastisch. Zij heeft zich nergens zo thuis gevoeld als hier!

This place was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL house I have ever been to. There is a private beach/river boat and backyard that has full kitchen and barbecue capacity, and it just feels so surreal to be there right on the riverside. Jasmin was so kind, responsive and accommodating. The house was so clean and spacious. It was perfect for us to have a basecamp to travel to Plitvice. I highly recommend this house to anyone who will be visiting the area. The neighborhood itself is so peaceful and beautiful as well. Please don’t hesitate to book this place!!!!! Absolutely amazing.

Wunderschön gelegene Hütte am Fluss, sehr idyllisch Natur. In der Hütte ist alles zu finden was man benötigt, entspannen auf der Terrasse oder in den Una Nationalpark fahren ist hier wunderbar möglich. Der Grill ist gut zu bentzen und es gibt ein an Ufer liegendes Floß mit Tisch und Sitzbank. Adnan war immer für uns erreichbar und zuvorkommend, hat uns viele Tipps gegeben was man Unternehmen kann, z.B. bei schlechterem Wetter, oder welche Restaurants in der Nähe zu finden sind.

We hebben erg genoten van dot fijne huisje. Veel ruimte, erg compleet en prachtige tuin. Edib reageerde snel, proactief en was ontzettend vriendelijk. We voelden ons zeer welkom!

Die Unterkunft von Amar und Lejla ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Haus Nr. 1 ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und vorallen sehr sauber. Die Outdoor Küche mit der einzigartigen Kulisse des Flusses war unglaublich! Auf der Terrasse wurde morgens gern gefrühstückt. Gemeinsame Abendessen und Kaffeekränzchen - da fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen. Mit der ruhigen Lage, der Gastfreundlichkeit und der Bio-Produkte haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Viele Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und nahegelegenen Städten waren gern gehört. Amar und Lejla haben ein idyllisches kleines Mini-Resort nahe der Drina geschaffen! Wir (2 Erw und 2 Kids) blieben 15 Tage und erlebten eine aufregende Zeit mit vielen schönen Eindrücken. Wir würden es ohne zu zögern jedem weiterempfehlen!

Sebina was incredibly kind and helpful. The house is beautiful, with amazing views of the river Una from the living room and one of the bedrooms. It was spacious, with great amenities and just over an hour from the entrance to Una National Park (the newest NP in Bosnia), which you can access from Dubrovnik. It's therefore possible to visit Štrbački buk (possibly the most beautiful waterfall in Bosnia) as a daytrip. We stayed over the New Year period and both the local bakery and some restaurants in town were open.

We had a fantastic stay at Happyland, it is paradise - private, peaceful and beautiful! The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful with our transport to the villa from our mountain hut and then onwards to the airport after our stay. The lake is gorgeous and we swum in it every day, the padddleboards were lots of fun and the pool was great too. The outdoor terrace is great for relaxing and the cooking facilities are great. Beds very comfortable and great hot power shower. The master bedroom has a stunning view to wake up to. I could not recommend this place more and I will definitely be back!

This spot is an absolute hidden gem. My partner and I are doing a road trip around the Balkans and we stumbled on Samra’s place randomly and has turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Check in was easy and there was a safe place to park. Bosanska Krupa is such a beautiful town. Surrounded by the river, the locals are so welcoming (and great with recommendations). Samra’s place is smack bang in the middle of town and easy to walk to everywhere you might need to do. But the stand out is the uniqueness and beauty of the place. Situated right on the water we had to pinch ourselves on a morning as we drank our coffee surrounded by the beauty of the crystal clear water right below our feet. There is anything you could possibly need within the accommodation, which is stylish, quaint and cute. We cannot recommend staying here enough and if we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will definitely be staying here. Thank you so much!!

Really appreciated them accommodating a slightly early check-in after a long train ride. I know cleaning that fast isn’t easy so thank you to the cleaning staff!! Gorgeous apartment with a cute kitchen and living room, plus close walk to old town and the Christmas market area. Would stay again if I come back to Mostar!

Beautiful and comfortable apartments, it was very convenient to get to all the attractions.

Words aren’t enough to describe how the place was, the service and the attention the hosts give. Ena, her mum, dad and sister were all extremely attentive to our stay. From arranging excursions to arranging transfers, to accepting an early check-in, they did the utmost and were impeccable. Absolutely amazing and friendly people. The place in itself was gorgeous. It was extremely clean, the colour schemes went very well and the view from the balcony was stunning! Seeing the waters and hearing them is surreal, to have that view everyday is worth every penny! In terms of location, the restaurants and shops are a 10 minute walk away including the Mostar Bridge, there’s a bakery 2 minutes away which is extremely helpful as you can grab a quick snack! A huge thank you to Ena and her family for looking after us throughout our whole stay! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Mostar, this is the one.

we loved staying at Samsa's place, it felt very private even though it was located practically in center of downtown with a great coffee shop and bakery right dowsntairs. The street from the balcony is beautiful with lots of mature trees and a canal. Good starting point for a good walk to the old town and barely few minutes from the tramway that takes you there in less than 10min. Samsa was also an amazing host, very friendly and great communicator.
