We went as guests on 29 Mar 2025 and left on 2 Apr 2025 as family friends. The food and care by Indu (Ashok's wife) was great and welcoming. When we had to leave early for the birding she packed us breakfast. We fell in love with her sweet lime pickle and she gave us some to take away when we left! Shekhar helped us plan on alternate transport for departure after 4 days to jaipur on the day we arrived - as we did not want to go to bharatpur railway station again after our experience arriving there. He introduced us to Neugo an electric bus service which picked us up just near their place. He came to the bus stop with us and made sure we were in the right place to board. Ashok was knowledgeable on birds and his story as we heard from Shekhar is a fantastic one of how in his early years he was with salim ali, then became a nature guide. We learnt of their ancestral elation to Bharatpur and Ashok's international travels preCovid. Lots of hollyhock and other flowers in their garden.

I will recommend Faiz to everyone. Extremely hospitable and friendly, and the room was incredible. Amazing stay.
An attached bathroom features modern fixtures and elegant light marble walls. A shower area is located alongside a toilet, with towels neatly arranged on a chrome rack above. The space is designed for cleanliness and convenience.

We had an amazing time at Anil & Sandhya’s place. They are very welcoming people that treat you like family. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and breakfast made by them. Anil even took us to Taj Mahal on his scooty to make sure we would be in time for sunrise. I very much recommend staying at their place. The loveliest people in India 🇮🇳

I am very glad that I chose this house for my stay in Agra. I spent a very peaceful and pleasant time here. In the house you can feel a real atmosphere of India, especially since Rekha's openness, kind care is absolutely exceptional. I have become very close to her and I am incredibly grateful for her hospitality. Anyone who stays in this house should take advantage of the meals that Rekha prepares. It heavenly delicious. I felt great there and I have great hope that I will come back someday.

The place is close to Taj Mahal, you can just get a shared rickshaw or walk if weather is pleasant. Bathroom is spacious but needs a little more cleaning. Our room was big, clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. I'd go back any day!

Lovely family running this bio lodge. Fresh garden produce for meals. Sunny verandah with south aspect and garden views. An easy trip to the bird sanctuary. Rooms are spacious and clean. No Wifi but 4G/5G working well.
