The house is located by the sea with a view of the fjord. On the other side of the fjord is Kalsoy, where the last James Bond film ended. The 150-year-old Pershús has recently been renovated. It is perfect for couples and families with children. There is opportunity for activities. Quiet walks and hiking. The local å Storá is everyone's playground. Good opportunities to dip in the gorge natural harbor Gjógvin. (NEVER DIP ALONE). Or just enjoy life with the fantastic view from the hot tub.

The house is located out in the free nature in beautiful surroundings secluded from public road. There is no direct access by car to the house, there is a fresh walk of about 100 meters to walk up a slope to the house It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The house is located next to a river, which creates a pleasant atmosphere.

Hyggeligt hus in Wood. Renovated in 2019, originally built in 1905. Wooden is more than landby. This is where 360 people live. Beautiful nature with large mountains. You can walk to "Enniberg" The location is amazing and has one of the most beautiful views of the Faroe Islands. At Viðareiði there is a reasonably large playground for children and a football field. We are happy to have stayed in this house for a unique experience that made us jump through time and space. Arriving in the Faroe Islands was like being transported to another dimension, staying in Marianna's house helps to rediscover the charm of a forgotten time. A warm and enveloping environment where even the creaking of the floorboards makes you feel good. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location. Logistically in a strategic position to reach all the locations of the Faroe Islands. There is everything you need to feel good and feel part of the fantastic world of these islands. Finally, a healthy and fair spirit of adaptation is required: access to the bathroom from a hatch is not entirely easy and the height of the bathroom ceiling is less than 1.75m. That said, I'm 1.80 tall, but I'd definitely go back...

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house in Leynar. The location is ideal – quiet yet central to explore the islands. The house is equipped with everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, a cozy fireplace for cozy evenings and a bathroom with excellent water pressure. After a day of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort and a great location.

Highly recommend this place! It is peaceful and quiet with amazing views. The house is lovely - just as in the description and pictures - and Gunnar is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We loved the well supplied kitchen and hot tub on the deck. Also loved the wildlife - birds and sheep and, most importantly, newborn lambs - right outside the house! Great location - about midway between the airport and Torshavn and a perfect jumping off point for exploring all the islands. As mentioned, the walk up to the house could be difficult for those unable to walk up a steep grade but is fine for most. It was a perfect place for our week in the Faroe Islands.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. it was perfext for two, but can easily accommodate more (3 bedrooms of which we only used 2). the interior is a true gem - a way-back-machine to the early 20th century, antique furniture, a shockingly well equipped kitchen (really, kudos for that! ther is also a cupboard with proper cocktail tools, something i've never seen in airbnbs before...), while not missing out on any amenities. I would gladly come again! Also, there was the most lovely guest book. If you want to check out the Elusive Glass Puffin and where to find it plus other guest's local recommendations, you need to visit yourself and have a look!
