Alina's house far exceeded our expectations. The cozy atmosphere, the tasteful and functional furnishings, the beautiful location, and finally Alina's loving support inspired us and we were even sad to leave "our" house because we would have liked to have stayed longer. The location allows easy access to all attractions. There were three of us and we settled in very well. For longer stays, it probably takes some adaptability because there are no closets and the two beds on the lower floor are accessible by a steep ladder.

A great location to stay while on the Faeröer 🇫🇴. Susanna is a very friendly host and her house is welcoming and cozy. Kitchen is well equipped, as is the rest of house. Stable internet should you need it. Easy drive from Torshavn and well positioned for all sorts of great activities and hikes in the Faeröer.

Kristian and Rakul did a fabulous job renovating this historic house, adding modern conveniences, seamlessly combining the old with the new. Their design eye makes this home pleasing to look at but also very comfortable to live in. We felt a warm time travel hominess to this magical place.

This spot offers a very charming retreat, stunning landscapa and tranquility.

We had such a wonderful stay! The location is wonderful for exploring Vagar and right near the local football pitch and beach. The house is very comfortable and makes you feel at home.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. it was perfext for two, but can easily accommodate more (3 bedrooms of which we only used 2). the interior is a true gem - a way-back-machine to the early 20th century, antique furniture, a shockingly well equipped kitchen (really, kudos for that! ther is also a cupboard with proper cocktail tools, something i've never seen in airbnbs before...), while not missing out on any amenities. I would gladly come again! Also, there was the most lovely guest book. If you want to check out the Elusive Glass Puffin and where to find it plus other guest's local recommendations, you need to visit yourself and have a look!

Really great place and very friendly host. This place is great value. I stayed there alone but it has space for multiple people. The view out the main large ‘conservatory’ area attached to the living room is very atmospheric. The 70inch Tv is also very nice if you like to watch YouTube and films. There are many great walks from the doorstep. I did the short hike to Trælanípa which is an incredible place. I highly recommend Gunnars place if you are staying in Miðvágur.

We really, really enjoyed our stay in Elsa`s beautiful and cozy home in Elduvik and recommend this as highly as we can possibly recommend a place to stay. It was truly a unique place to stay in Elduvik and significant care was made to make this a really homey place, from the design touches to a meticulous renovation of a traditional home. Indeed there are no restaurants or stores in the village, but that is the charm of staying here. Cooking in, going to the fish market and supermarket before arriving and simply enjoying a very special and unique experience separated from the stresses of life. The house has everything you need and you feel immediately warm and at home as soon as you walk in. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Elsa for the wonderful stay and truly special experience.
