Beachfront vacation rentals in Faroe Islands

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. The place was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we would have wanted.

I loved staying at Andrass's place. The view, location, and the tranquility are wonderful. The home is warm, lovely, cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. It was a treat to live in the peaceful hamlet on the sea, yet not far from great hikes, shops, restaurants, and swimming pool. It's a great base to explore all of Suduroy. The staircase to the bedrooms are steep, and took a little getting used to, but the handrails are very secure. It added to the charm:). I would happily stay again.

It's a really nice house near the harbour. Rustic in the good way. No fancy stuff. But everything you need to cook, relax and slow your life rythm. I felt quickly like at home. It's quite far from the "main" island (the one with torshavn). You will need to take a 2 hours ferry and then drive 10 minutes to get there. But Suduroy really deserve a few days. Nice hikes and beautiful sceneries.

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

schönes bootshaus mit gemütlichem flair direkt am meer. gut ausgestattet, sauber, gute küche inkl gewürzen und einigen lebensmittelresten von vorgängern, tolle lage. man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. bettsofa ist für zwei personen ok, schlafluke war zu eng und stickig. nahe am fährhafen und stadtzentrum. wir würdens jederzeit wieder wählen.

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes und gestaltetes Bootshaus. Vor allem auch die Küchenausstattung ist klasse. Auch über die Willkommensleckerein haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Die Vermieter waren immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können die schöne Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Haus in Leynar. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und dennoch zentral, um die Inseln zu erkunden. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht: eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Utensilien, ein wohliger Kamin für gemütliche Abende und ein Badezimmer mit ausgezeichnetem Wasserdruck. Nach einem Tag voller Entdeckungen war es der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Komfort und eine großartige Lage schätzen.

This is a great place with such a beautiful view! There were plenty of comfy beds, a well stocked bathroom, and everything we needed to do our laundry. Really enjoyed the town, and the location and parking were easy to find with the instructions we received. So happy with our stay here!

Dagmar's house in Eiði was lovely. It's centrally located in the village, just opposite the town church. There's a convenient parking spot right out front. The interior was nicely decorated, and the house works well for a single traveler such as myself; it also, however, would work well for larger groups or families, as there are multiple bedrooms. This was a great place to stay while exploring the northern Faroes!

Wir vermissen das Bootshaus jetzt schon sehr und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben! Die Atmosphäre und der Ausblick auf den Fjord sind atemberaubend, das Bootshaus ist nicht nur sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch luxuriös ausgestattet (z.B. elektrischer Kamin, Sauna, Airfryer, Fernrohr, HUE, Sonos). Wir hatten einen unfassbar schönen Aufenthalt und können jedem nur einen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft empfehlen! Es war traumhaft abends auf der Couch zu liegen und bei Musik und Kamin den Ausblick zu genießen. Wir hatten sogar das Glück einen Abend die Polarlichter sehen zu können und einen Tag bei purem Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse zu verbringen. Am liebsten würde ich das Bootshaus für immer bewohnen :-) Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeber - wir kommen hoffentlich irgendwann wieder!

Was für eine tolle Aussicht! Man hat schön Platz in der Wohnung, sie ist sehr geräumig. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht (Einrichtung ist live love laugh style). Super Gastgeber!

Torben is a terrific host, making sure we were set up and letting us know to get groceries in advance because the peaceful island of Nolsoy is sparsely populated and things close early. He checked to be sure we were ok without being intrusive. Directions were spot on and check out couldn’t be easier. His liberal checkout schedule is even timed to the ferries departing Nolsoy. The cozy house is shore front with views across the strait of Torshavn and is steps to walks in the village and hikes on the north side of Nolsoy island. The kitchen is freshly renovated with overly ample amenities. Abundance of kitchenware, spices and extras.

This villa in Midvagur is truly a beautiful work of art overlooking the water. It was very comfortable for our family of 6 and provided a perfect home base for exploring all the islands. Every room was spotless. The chefs kitchen was a true joy to cook meals and entertain. The soaking tub and rain drop shower were amazing after a very long day of hiking. ABSOLUTELY no worries about enough hot water for everyone. The supply was endless for 6 baths/showers, washing lots and lots of dishes, loads of laundry and it just kept coming. At the end of the day the beds were so comfortable and inviting that we all fell fast asleep with dreams of the next days adventures. We made many cherished memories that will last a lifetime! I encourage others to come visit Gunnar and Helga who are superior hosts who go out of their way to make your visit exceptional.
