Great long weekend exploring Caen and surrounds. The Airbandb was a perfect base. Plenty of peaceful space to relax in between exploring. Could not access WiFi though.

As soon as you step through the door, you feel safe and pampered. And we felt great there! This place is conducive to rest. And for good reason, everything was done with care: the hospitality, decor and bedding (not least) were great! We thank our host, Alexis, for his kindness. We'll be happy to go back because this week spent here was nothing but relaxation and rejuvenation. The cottage is ideally located in this beautiful city. The Alpes Mancelles were a real favorite. Exceptional experience. Warm welcome. A host and tour guide who is attentive, caring and knows how to make themselves available. If you are passionate about history like Florentin, the discussions and moments shared are even more enjoyable. The cottage is comfortable, clean and has all amenities. It is generally close to major historical sites by car. The environment is peaceful. I would highly recommend it. We look forward to returning to these places full of history with caring hosts. Villa Denise is a beautiful house that is just waiting to welcome young and old. The beautiful spaces in this house allow everyone to find their place. The proximity to the center and the beach is very comfortable. Magali is flexible, responsive and her directions are precise. don't hesitate!

I’m actually stuck for words on what to say about Delphine. It was like going back to your parents and your parental home and when someone asks you “how good were your parents and what did they do?” It feels like they did absolutely nothing. They are just there. Like turning the tap on and water pours out. It just happens and you take all the hard work of water management, purification, infrastructure etc, all for granted. Delphine was just there! Thank you Delphine.

We stayed in Thomas's apartment for a week. Enjoyed the tasteful decor. Very special in such an area as the former Grand Hotel. Within 50m you are with your feet in the sand and the sea. Houlgate has captured our heart with its atmosphere, really French, the shops and restaurants, was a party. Surroundings are also definitely worth a visit. The apartment is lovely to stay in even on a rainy day. We can definitely recommend this.

Perfectly located accommodation, minutes from the beach on foot. The sea view is lovely. The accommodation is clean, well arranged and with all the necessities (there is even a booster seat and a step-stool for children!). Thanks to Audrey for her smile and hosting us. We had a lovely stay!

We had a great time. The accommodation offered by Cécile and Michel is as described. It has everything; bright, well-equipped, nice and very pleasant accommodation. It is located next to the beaches of Courseulles-sur-Mer which are beautiful. From the accommodation it is very easy to reach all the landing beaches. We recommend it and will be back!!
